Here is the best place I have found for a take out breakfast, specifically their breakfast burritos. I have them to add ham , as I was tired of all the breakfast sandwiches with sausage giving me a tummy ache. Their burritos are cooked in a coordinated fashion in different pans assembly is completed right after they add the tater tots. It's perfection in a tortilla roll. Well worth the extra money, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic cafe and restaurant. Stopped in while I was waiting for my car to get fixed and I'm so glad I did. I got the breakfast sandwich on a bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon. It was delicious. The service was super fast and super friendly. It felt like a great family-owned place where people actually care. I'll be back!

I miss the pre-pandemic times when there was live music late into the evening, but I’m a loyal customer. This is my go-to study spot. Fantastic everything.

Ordered the pesto Portobello panini. Was $13 something, with tax came out to over $15. It was barely a panini as the panini marks weren't visible. It took the guy all of 3 minutes to make. Literally took a small sandwich roll, topped it with premade ingredients, and put it in the panini press for 1 minute. Then he put 1 single lettuce leaf in a box with some pickles then the sad sandwich and that was it. Not worth it at all. I had a fair share of paninis in my life and if that's what you're looking for, this is not the place for it. One place that sticks out and is closeby is Zing Cafe near Ashby Bart, those are pretty great paninis
Old place. First time here. the tables are really old, it looks messy, but looks like it's a local favorite because it gets busy. I didn't think customer service was anything out of the ordinary. They take your order, you sit, they call your number or they bring you your food. The guy who took my order didn't greet or smile. I had no idea there was a specific way to order. It wasn't until I looked at the ground after I sat down, did I see the arrows. Food was ok. I ordered a bagel with lox, Turkey & bacon panini and a traditional breakfast. Thought the cafe & food was ok.

Great little coffee shop which is popular with the locals. Their scones and croissants, including pain du chocolates are wonderful. Nice seating , pleasant coffee shop atmosphere.

Best Mochas made West of of New York City, made by Luis. Hassle free and faster service than Starbucks or Petes. Cafe Trieste is a bit of the old spirit of Berkeley preserved despite the excessive gentrification in the area.

Friendly Staff. We had hot cider and Almond Croissant comparatively of a larger size than one available at Starbucks.
