Went here for a staff event. Amazing chicken and waffles, and the mac and cheese was really solid. Nice seating area and staff, many of us plan to come back. Only downside is no public bathroom, but they're pretty close to Berkeley Bowl so be aware of that during your visit. I'd definitely recommend the chicken and the mac!

my son had the habanero fat boy with a salad and he said it was one of the best spicy experiences of his life. it's definitely for those who love spicy food already and not for those who are deciding to try something new. but for people who love spicy food this is a must try! (his secret was to eat the yummy salad after the spicy sandwich - guess to cool down the pallet).
I wish food is little less salty. whenever I had food here I can’t sleep because I have to drink jug of water. Specially parmesan fries is awful salty.

This place is a bit hidden, especially at night. But I'm so glad we found it. The food was very good. I got the chicken sandwich. It was soo good, crispy and big! Cheesecake was amazing, small though. We got it with fresh blueberries . So good. It's well lit at night and the heaters were on if you want to sit in the patio area (although they weren't up as high as I would've like because I was still pretty cold). But it's a cute, cozy ducked off spot.

Cali Alley is super delicious. I love the juicy fried chicken sandwich, and the fact that their side salad is actually good and not just a throwaway obligation. I recommend eating the sandwich if you have nothing to do for the rest of the day because it will take you down. Pure bliss. The seating area is very cute, but we also love taking our box to San Pablo park for an easy picnic.

Super fresh and delicious local spot. Salads are crisp, fresh and perfectly dressed. Prawns were well seasoned. The banh mi burger was ridiculous with smoked brisket, pork belly, picked greens — more banh mi than banh mi. The fries and mint limeade were also top notch. Can’t wait to try more. Definitely adding to the weekly rotation.
