California Rose Catering did such an amazing job with our wedding and we are so grateful. We - and our families - have so much gratitude for the amazing job California Rose did for our wedding.

We chose family style for our wedding, and the service was amazing. The food - with a custom menu created by Chef Dov - was so delicious. We also had a dessert bar via California Rose that was also spectacular. Many of our guests told us they loved the food, and we are still receiving compliments on the food and service about about month out.

Our point of contact and coordinator was Adrian, who is super organized and kind. She helped guide us through the process with patience and expertise. She also helped our wedding go smoothly and coordinated all the details amazingly. The California Rose team was always quick to respond to emails. The planning process for our wedding involved a phone consult as well as an in person tasting, both of which were easy to set up. California Rose took care of our florals and rentals, and made those items really easy to take care of.

We cannot say enough about California Rose Catering and their exceptional team. From the moment we first tasted their food, we knew they were the perfect choice for our wedding.

Our top priorities were delicious food and a lively dance floor, and California Rose exceeded our expectations in both areas. They ensured that everyone was well-fed and hydrated before the party started, and the drinks flowed freely throughout the night.

We opted for family-style service, which allowed our guests to enjoy a variety of dishes. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all absolutely delicious and received rave reviews from everyone.

Chef Dov and Adrian were incredible to work with. They hosted a tasting prior to our wedding and carefully listened to our feedback to create a custom menu that perfectly reflected our tastes.

Adrian was a true MVP. She was incredibly responsive, detailed, and organized. She patiently answered all of our questions and helped us plan the wedding menu + dining experience of our dreams.

We are so grateful to California Rose Catering for making our wedding a culinary masterpiece. Their exceptional food, service, and professionalism made our special day even more memorable.

After meeting the staff and doing a tasting with Chef Dov, we knew instantly that California Rose was the way to go for our wedding! Chef Dov was flexible with our food preferences and helped us create a delicious menu for our wedding of 110 at Deer Park Villa. Jenn was very helpful throughout our wedding planning process as well. The team helped us transform our dinner reception into a romantic, beautiful atmosphere. The guests loved his food and mini desserts! Chef Dov, Jenn, and the rest of the CA Rose team helped us create the pescatarian, family-style menu of our dreams for our wedding of 130 in Piedmont on 4/22/22. We have loved every aspect of working with them - they provided us with a cute and delicious set-down tasting, Jenn coordinated ALL of our rentals and made our floorplans, they helped us figure out our signature cocktails/booze situation, helped us design the perfect menu for our guests, and gave us endless guidance and advice along the way. Chef Dov is chill, warm, incredibly skilled, and just generally a wonderful person and business owner. Jenn was an MVP in so many ways, fun and easy to work with, kept the day running smoothly, and as far as I am concerned, can organize anything and still remain chill. The service the day of was impeccable - there were plates of food and drinks waiting for us every step of the way. I feel sad for those who say they don't eat at their own wedding, because this meal was one of the BEST of our lives, and I have never attended another wedding that I can say that about.Dov, Jenn, and everyone at CA Rose - thank you for everything. Food is such a big part of our lives, and it meant the world to us our guests loved the meal you created for us.

Fresh, piping hot, and yummy. You can tell fries are fried in separate fryer from their fried chicken which is great. The attention to detail is ? everything was done with care with presentation. Each bite of the chicken burger or "The Fat Cat" (big and messy!) comes with fries or salad. The burger had perfectly spread out slaw and pepperoncinis spread out. I recommend eating immediately because of the very soft brioche bun that'll soak up the delicious juicy ingredients and in turn become mushy. Oh yes, also came with 2 crisp dill pickle spears.

They took care of everything for our backyard wedding, from the rentals to servers to the AMAZING food. The food was Michelin quality, so my own wedding food was the best wedding food I've ever had.

Oh and Chef Dov ensures that his entire team is fully vaccinated. We felt very safe and comfortable having their team in our home and interacting in such an intimate environment.

Cali Alley is my best find during the pandemic. The food is always great and the prices are reasonable.

I can't say enough about Dov and his team at California Rose Catering. I had a last minute event that I needed catered. California Rose came through. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I would use totally use them again for any event!!!

BEST CATERER EVER! I have worked in the nonprofit sector at major organizations for more than 3 decades and during that time I have never found a caterer to come even close to California Rose. The food is utterly devine; the service is impeccable; and Chef Dov and his amazing crew make everything sooooo easy. I give California Rose the highest rating possible. Try them. You will NOT be disappointed.

California Rose Catering and Special Events transformed our wedding venue into a romantic atmosphere and prepared the most delicious food that our guests loved. My husband and I knew we wanted our wedding catered by California Rose after we tasted their food at another family member’s wedding. Chef Dov worked with us to customize the reception menu, the dessert bar, and our presentation cake. Our guests told us that the food tasted incredible and asked if they could get the chef’s information for their events. Chef Dov has been a professional chef at high end restaurants in San Francisco and the East Bay and is also the co-founder of California Rose. He is easy to work with, humble, and kind.

Angy Stebleton and Eric Allen were also amazing in helping us coordinate the events for the wedding day. They visited the venue to do a walk-through with us and to discuss our vision for the big day. They reserved all of the rentals, created a spreadsheet for us to fill out so that they were on top of every detail, and they were there for us whenever we had a question. Angy and Eric also seamlessly coordinated all of the vendors and made sure every item was in place for the wedding. All of the transitions throughout the day were flawless and the staff was always polite and incredible. We look forward to working with California Rose again for future events!
