Me and my friend were FLABBERGASTED when the waiter gave us the NASTIEST attitude… She forced us to tip high and basically started shouting to our face to tip her and we got scared on top of being mad lol ??? She was extremely rude and SO aggressive and the entire time we were there we also could see that the other customers felt the same and were getting uncomfortable by her attitude.
The curry was very delicious tbh but the waiter was just so rude I don’t think me and friend will ever revisit with this server present ??❌❌❌

Let me tell yall about this here CURRY! my thing is the burger patty curry and I ALWAYS get the chicken karage and EXTRA CURRY to use as dipping sauce. You want something different but something that feels familiar at the same time, come over to The Den and hit Champions to make your tummy happy. It's a vibe
I had the vegan curry rice with grilled veggie add-on. This would be around $17 before tip & tax. It was good. I would love to see more options for vegans and vegetarians here.

Excellent pork cutlet slices appropriately as of taste comes through. Panko is real not typical American version. Curry is different but very good..
For pork katsu curry rice only. The pork is not tender. Rice is sticky. Curry is a bit spicy, but not really attractive.

I've had a difficult time finding local restaurants that have Japanese curry that I like. So imagine my joy when I find Champion's, which happens to have good curry and happens to be right around the corner from my other favorite Japanese curry place (Muracci's).The food was all good. We ordered katsu curry, hamburg plate and a salad, along with egg/macaroni salad and sausage sides. Would definitely order again.The inside setup in a practical way (the way you'd expect a restaurant near a university to be). Online order for pickup was easy and straight forward.
