I had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant! Every dish was full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked , especially the curry and tandoori items, Aslam chicken is the star among . The spices were balanced beautifully, and the naan came out soft and fresh. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, colorful, and felt just like being in India. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves real Indian food. definitely a 5-star experience.

Visited Chandni Chowk Berkeley and absolutely loved the food! The Paneer Tikka Kabab was perfectly grilled, the Old Delhi style Aslam Chicken was flavorful, and tender. The Chicken Tandoori was juicy with just the right spice, and the meal ended beautifully with dessert Kabari Kheer. Great ambiance and friendly service definitely a must visit spot in Berkeley!

Absolutely loved Chandni Chowk Restaurant in Berkeley!
The food took me straight back to the streets of Delhi. The chaat was bursting with flavor perfectly tangy and fresh. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and rich, and the chole bhature was spot on soft bhature and flavorful chole just like home. The pav bhaji was another winner, buttery and full of authentic taste.

The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. I also loved the interior art and design colorful, vibrant, and full of Indian street vibes. You can tell they’ve put a lot of heart into both the food and the atmosphere.

Highly recommend this place for anyone craving real Indian flavors in Berkeley!

We were curious but wary about this spot — it’s been home to a few so-so Indian places in the past. Then I read the new owners have super popular food trucks in Fremont. That’s a good sign! And sure enough, we tried it last night and had the best Indian food we’ve had in Berkeley in a long time. Plus some good beers on tap!

We live close by and we were stoked to see Chandni Chowk open up! We’re lucky that North Indian food isn’t too hard to find in East Bay, but this spot is different — the vibe is bright and fun, the menu is centered on deeply flavorful comfort food, and the thali-style plating (something you’d see at your grandma’s home) is a culinary experience.

We tried the matka chai, papdi chaat, baingan bharta, Kashmiri naan, and chole bhature. It was all amazing, but absolutely loved the smokiness of the baingan!

Service was also friendly and fast, and the prices felt right. We’re excited to be back soon!

The best Chole Bhature in town! Also tried the Pav Bhaji and Mango Lassi, both were good, but the Chole Bhature stood out for me. Highly recommend.

had the aloo tikki chaat and chai today for lunch and it was so delicious! immediately my favourite south asian spot in berkeley/oakland. their fremont food truck is incredible too. its hard to find authentic south asian food in the bay that hasn’t been watered down and made flavourless but chandni chowk’s food was flavourful, fresh, familiar, and comforting. love that having your chai in a matka is an option too. im excited to be back and try the whole menu :-)

I visited Chandni Chowk in Berkeley and absolutely loved it! I started with the Dahi Vada,it was so soft, beautifully crafted, and perfectly delicious. For the main course, I tried their signature Aslam Chicken, and it was outstanding full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys authentic and flavorful Indian food!

Haven't eaten here as not open yet. But looks like a cool vibe. Very colorful.
