Really good flavors (a bit too salty) and authentic Hunan cuisine (meaning some chicken dishes will have the chicken chopped up, bone-in, skin on; the shrimp might be unpeeled and heads on; mild is still pretty spicy; organ dishes, etc.). If you are looking to get a flavor of authentic Hunan food, this is the place; if you are looking for American Chinese food you might be disappointed.
I've eaten at here twice now, and the food is amazing and so authentic! I'm really glad they serve 攸县米粉 (rice noodles from my parents' region in China). I haven't seen anywhere else in the United States that does it, and they make it so well: the broth is incredibly flavorful, the portion is generous, and the egg they include is just like my mom makes them.
Food was very authentic, the service and ambiance was mediocre. We got our food five minutes after ordering it. I would definitely recommend this place for a true foodie. Be prepared for the spicy dishes.
