I have raved about the quality of Comal's food for over a decade and took a friend who has extensive knowledge of Mexican food. Sadly all of our food was BLAND. Still love the ambiance and service and drinks were great, but food has gone downhill. Hoping this was just a bad night as I've been going there since it first opened.
Food... okay. Service... friendly and professional. But... insanely noisy. We had to shout to hear each other and... that's no way to enjoy a night out. Between those reflective walls i won't be returning.
We came as a group of college students and received a classy meal that blended flavor and comfort. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a casual fine dining experience that offers Michelin level quality. (Amazing pricing too, about 30 dollars a person)
