Except for street noise, I would rate this experience as quiet as we ate in the outdoor seating- which is VERY comfortable. The service is excellent and everything we selected was great- the charcuterie plate was great to share for 3-4 people, easily. The pasta dishes are perfection, properly cooked.
Small menu, ravioli was a small portion (only 5 raviolis.) Most items didn't have tomato sauce, which was unusual. We are from LA and the food in Berkeley near UC has not held a candle to the restaurant market where we live. The server was very kind and we had a nice evening, but the food was just OK to me.
A great venue for a casual catch-up with a friend. Delectable cuisine. attentive service, and a warm welcoming environment made it a fun evening. The only minor drawback was the mouse level, which made it hard to hear my dining partner at times.
