Small restaurant with really good food. Extensive varied menu. Large portions at moderate prices.s
Super friendly staff, great brunch of veggie scramble with crispy potatoes and veggie Benedict with perfect poached eggs and lovely salad, very affordable and generous portions - inside and outside seating
We have to pay attention to sound levels with one pair of hearing aids, so we ate at 6:30 on a Tuesday when the restaurant was fairly quiet. It got busier and louder later on. We enjoyed the winter salad, though it was not as filling as we might have hoped, and the mushroom pappardelle with asparagus, which was great and plentiful. One had the meatballs with side of grilled bread that was reported to be very good. Service was swift and attentive, and the server advised how they easily could keep any heat out of several candidate menu items.
Second time dining at Creekwood and it is just such a gem. We got the mussels and could not get enough of their sauce on perfect ACME bread, and the petrale sole dish was faultless and delightful. Their desserts were perfect last time but good luck saving room. Service was excellent and very quick in a packed restaurant. Will be back!

Have been to Creekwood several times. Food is always well prepared and flavorful. Service is efficient. On a nice day outside seating is fine. Not a lot of traffic on Sacramento St. Easy neighborhood parking.
I've been looking for a new place to dine in Berkeley for quite some time. This location checked all of the boxes for me, but there were a few things lacking: 1. Parking. Be prepared to circle the block. There is 24 minute parking in front up until 6 pm. 2. Noise: Good gracious! There are zero soft surfaces inside and it shows. With two tables of 5+ next to us, you can imagine how loud things got. The food was outstanding. The service is good, if a bit too quick to try to clear your plates. I felt a bit rushed because of this, but whatever. All in all, it's a nice restaurant with good food. I'll have to see if brunch is any quieter, but I doubt it.
So glad we discovered this gem! The food was great and the service was excellent. We went for brunch so in addition to many items, we had to order the churro waffle for the table to share. So yummy!
We were immediately seated. Our waiter was great and provided us with wonderful suggestions as we couldn't decide on what to order. The food came out in a timely manner after placing our order. Wonderful evening and service.
Another successful dinner at Creekwood, this time for an intimate dinner for two to celebrate a birthday. Atmosphere is warm and friendly, great service, and the food excellent. We had all our favorites -- brussels sprouts, meatballs, mussels, and french fries with aioli. Dessert was a giant slab of delicious carrot cake to share. Great neighborhood spot, and worth a drive to get to as well.
Paul was our server and he made the dining experience exceptional. He is one of the best servers we have ever had in all of our restaurant dining.

I've eaten here many times in the past, and this was by far the most enjoyable and delicious. So good.
Great Sunday brunch spot. Delicious salmon Benedict and French toast and latte! Easy to grab a table last minute, a neighborhood gem!
Food was tasty, especially the brussel sprouts. It was a quiet night, so we could actually hear each other speak! Service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive.
My friend had a monte cristo sandwich . She said it was amazing. I had the huevos rancheros and it was the best huevos rancheros I've ever had in my life. Desserts are absolutely fabulous some of the best around. The place is clean, cozy and just has a nice atmosphere Outdoor seating is premium, but we did not choose outdoor seating .
Celebrated my daughter's 15 birthday here - she loves Italian food. Everything we had was delicious. Not your standard Caesar salad; the best croutons, anchovies and dressing. Burrata was creamy and loved the seasonal fruit with it. We had 2 different pastas and 2 pizzas - all fantastic. Lovely wine list. Gelato outstanding. Staff was efficient and friendly. Only negative was the noise where we were sitting it was rather busy and right next to the kitchen so hard to hear our conversation.
