Rigatoni is one of my favorites. Cugini’s rigatoni ala cabrese is delicious. The pasta is cooked perfectly. The sauce is sweet. The sausage has all the good spices. Today I tried the ravioli in creamy pesto. It was so rich and so tasty. My husband can not eat gluten or dairy. Not a big deal but I love pasta. When I get a craving for all that good gluten and dairy, Cugini’s has me covered.
This was the first time my husband and I visited this restaurant and initially I was pleased with the male that waited on us. We ordered the Sicilian pizza and two glasses of wine. The pizza was good except part of the pizza wasn't crispy, but the wine was pleasant.I ordered a lasagna to go ($29.00) and was extremely disappointed. The sauce was underwhelming and I couldn't taste any spices, the lasagna was also two short stacks and the pasta was over cooked. Lasagna is supposed to have multiple layers. I won't be patronizing this establishment again and I am still on the hunt for a decent lasagna. Also, the staff was noisy in the corner of the restaurant playing games and watching video on their phone and not as attentive as the first male.

Every thing was perfect! and I mean everything. Must be homemade bread for the appetizer with balsamic vinegar. The bread was out of this world! Warm, dense, soft, slightly moist, perfectly crisp crust! Our small caesar salad was simple and delicious. My friend's seafood penne was a perfectly sized portion with just the right amount of seafood, excellent. My pizza was some of the best I have ever had. Easy to eat. Crust done just right on a wood fired stove. We could smell just a little bit of wood smoke from our table. a very nice touch to an excellent ambiance. Beautiful and colorful artwork on burnt orange colored walls. Service was on time with everything. Friendly, attentive, quick. FIVE STARS! (PS if you miss Cesar's, this is the best thing going in the area.)
