Darband Mediterranean Restaurant

Got the falafel plate, sign said it came with baba ganoush but didn't get any, and when I asked they said it just came with hummus. Falafel were pretty good but not worth 20 bucks.

We had the chicken and ground beef kabobs and they were about the best I've ever had! The extremely nice owner insisted on trying the tea which was lovely.
Come here for your Mediterranean takeout. There are a few seating places in this food court if you stay.

Some of the best Persian food I’ve had. Juicy chicken and beef kebab. Crazy that it’s hidden in this little food court. Also wonderful service - they were working on a catering order when I put in my order. They very graciously warned me about the wait and as I sat outside, they brought me some tea to enjoy m. Honestly, the food is so worth the wait, absolutely delicious.

They sold me a Napoleon cake with mold under it .🤢🤢🤮🤮 And when i told them they stopped answering me . They will poison you . Be careful.

came here with my girlfriend to grab lunch and it was great!! we had the chicken kebob with rice and a falafel wrap, both were delicious :) really big portions as well! also recommend the green chutney, pairs well with all the food! we will definitely be back!

They hands down make the BEST jooje Kabob and Kabob Barg that I have ever had in the US. Both juicy, just the right amount of flavor and so soft it melts in your mouth. Tahdig was amazing! Crispy and flavorful Super friendly staff, out of this world food!

Wonderful and delicious foods. I can definitely recommend all items specially kebab koobideh. Try at least one time, then you understand what I mean and may keep going there every month.

Really good Persian food. Not sure why the description says Mediterranean but kobideh, barg sultani all Persian items. One of the best kobidehs I’ve had in Bay Area. Other stuff with it was pretty good too, saffron rice, grilled tomato, salad all top class!

I got the Schwarma wrap -- it wasn't very good:
- It didn't taste very good -- the vegetables seemed old and limp and the sauce was kind of grainy and tasted like yellow mustard.
- It was wrapped in such a way that there was aluminum foil embedded pretty deep in the wrap that was hard to pull out while eating. I had a bite of aluminum foil before I noticed
- It was very messy, constantly oozing sauce out the side.

What can I say? The ultimate Iranian Sultani I had after a long time was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect. The Kubideh was great, the Barg was tender, and the rice was incredibly flavorful and juicy. On top of it, they added two pieces of mouthwatering Tahdig and a deliciously seasoned salad. I enjoyed every bite, and the service was really nice. I totally recommend Darband Restaurant. It was worth the trip from San Francisco to Berkeley. Keep up the good work and great food.
