This is a great neighborhood Japanese restaurant. The tables are small, probably best suited for no more than 4 or 5 people. They were very friendly and accommodating to our group on a Friday evening. We arrived a few minutes before happy hour ended and were still allowed to order from the happy hour menu (what a great value!) They have many delicious dishes other than sushi. Everything we ordered was tasty and the portions were generous.

We like the food ok, but the service is beyond awful. We went in person and although there weren't that many people, the food took forever. We decided to give them another chance and ordered online. They needed 50 minutes to make an easy order during a non-busy time, then when we got there on time, they told us it would be another 15 minutes. This time we're done with them.

Waited for over 20 minutes and food never came, and there was no sign that my food was ever going to come. Others were having the same experience. They seemed to be completely ignoring the people eating alone, while promptly serving the groups. Terrible experience; I advise against eating there.

Very tasty, good quality sushi at great prices. Happy hour prices are even better. We came in to pick up an online order but they didn't receive it due to poor Internet, so they expedited the order and finished it quickly. I would recommend dining in or calling in to avoid this.

Very tiny inside. It's like your sitting right next to the others..ordered a California roll which was very good. An Alaskan hand roll with tuna which was terrible tasted bad no flavor at all ..and 2 orders of salmon negri ..salmon was tasteless then they suggest a tip amount which I've always thought is Insulting and pushy. I was getting my money out and the girl came by and stood there. I told her I'd get to it. That was pushy. .anyhow great California roll but i wouldn't go back
Loved the unagi taco, and my bento box with chicken katsu! Warm and homey feeling- will go back for sure

So I called this place this evening and asked if they could prepare my food to go without using plastic anything, they said they would and I agreed to bring my own box….well I brought a box and a paper bag and they provided excellent food and service without a bit of plastic and I was thrilled! Wonderful to find a place that doesn’t act like I have two heads because I don’t want plastic packaging. This is my new sushi place for sure!
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian rolls, salads, soup.
Dietary restrictions: Diabetic options
Parking: So easy to park…plenty spaces on San Pablo and easy side streets
