We felt rushed to place the order. So called saffron rice was not hot and had a stale taste to it. That yellow stuff was just food coloring and not saffron. We asked for extra grilled tomatoes and they couldn’t even get it right.
Attention was bleak. Server came by after it was over to see if everything went well! Shameful.

Hello owner of Daryoush restaurant, I have been trying to get a hold of the owner of this restaurant for the entire week and he has ignored my messages has not responded to me on Instagram message Nor myphone call to his restaurant After leavingnumerous messages.
Persians are known to be very hospitable however when dined at your restaurant last Week, after dinner before we had finished our tea your waiter asked us to leave because there were other people waiting to have a table. Your restaurant does not take reservations!!!!. Those were walk-in customers. I had out of town Guestsand I talked them into trying your restaurant instead of Albourz as they had food there before and wanted to return there..
. This has never happened to me in any other restaurants. Shame on your staff with your the poor customer service you’ve taught the Mexican staff to speak Farsi for food Introduction, however, you forgot to teach them that it is absolutely rude to ask Customer leave after they paid the bill but not finished with their food or drink. Will never step into your restaurant again.

Great Persian Cuisine in Downtown Walnut Creek!
We are so happy to have discovered this new Persian restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek. The food is truly amazing – delicious, fresh, and consistently impressive.

The owner's dedication to ensuring every guest has a wonderful experience is evident. He is always present, attending to every table, and making sure everyone leaves happy.

The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the ingredients is outstanding. The only drawback is that they don't take reservations, so be prepared for a first-come, first-served experience.

Despite this, we've returned several times and can't wait to go back. If you're a foodie looking for authentic, mouth-watering Persian cuisine, look no further!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Daryoush!**

Tonight, my husband, daughter, and I had dinner at Daryoush restaurant, and it was truly exceptional from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. But what really made the evening special was the **incredible service**.

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were attentive, kind, and took such wonderful care of us throughout our meal. It’s rare these days to find service this thoughtful and warm.

We didn’t get the names of the three people who served us, but each of them went above and beyond. The owner is very lucky to have such a fantastic team representing the restaurant.

We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend Daryoush to anyone looking for amazing food and even better hospitality!

Wow ok. Finally a quality Persian restaurant in the Bay Area. This place knows how to do it. Quality kabobs, rice, everything. That’s how you do it. Thank god cause I was starting to lose hope. I happened to be in Walnut Creek area and thought I’d grab something to take home with me since it was almost 9:30. Pure quality. Delicious food

My mom and I came here to eat and arrived before 9:30 p.m., even though their posted closing time is 10 p.m. They didn’t let us sit down and insisted we do takeout instead. They could have simply asked us to finish our meal within 20 minutes, but instead they just refused to let us dine in. They prepared the kebab in less than 10 minutes, which clearly means it was already ready and they just reheated it and poured some butter on top! We ended up eating in the car and saw that other customers were still inside the restaurant even after 10 p.m. Very disappointing experience!!

Every visit to Daryoush is a 10/10 experience. From the warm welcome to the impeccable professionalism, this team truly sets the standard for excellence. The customer service is thoughtful, intelligent, and genuinely kind — they make you feel like family while maintaining top-tier professionalism.

The quality of everything consistently exceeds expectations. The environment is inviting, and perfectly balanced between elegance and comfort. The wait time is always minimal, yet the attention to detail never wavers.

It’s rare to find a place where every element — from service to ambiance — is so consistently perfect. Daryoush never ceases to amaze us. Bravo!

Staff were all great and friendy but the food was not good at all. Stew was prepared poorly, for Gheimeh Bademjan, limoo amani was stale and the taste was obvious, besides the fact that it was filled with split lentil with little to no meat. We also got the Daryoush plate that had three skewers of barg, koobideh and jooje. Jooje was alright, koobideh was meh but barg was not barg. It didn’t taste like anything. I do not recommend it. Combo dish was fine. Kashk badejman was not good but mast khiar and hummus was OK.

This Persian restaurant has a nice variety of traditional kabobs and stews. I ordered the Sultani kabob (beef barg + koobideh) and it was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Service was quick, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The only downside was the restroom: there’s only one for a lot of guests. It was clean but didn’t have paper towels. Hopefully they can improve this in the future.

Parking is easy, either on the street or in the affordable lot across from the restaurant.

Extremely delicious food. The dill and fava bean rice was incredible. Chicken and beef kebabs plus an appetizer plate is plenty for 2-3 people. The meat was so soft and juicy. Interior & ambience is nice, if average.
