Outstanding fish trio appetizer. Beautiful, sophisticated layering of textures and flavors. Healthy & exquisitely delicious. Superb wine recommended by waiter. Waiters are the very best of any restaurant I've been to: knowledgeable, helpful, efficient. Food choices are numerous and everything I've ever eaten at Donato over the years has been excellent. Last night's appetizer and wine were the best ever. Truly impressive.

We have loved Donato &Co for many years. But this visit was quite disappointing. The overall quality of the food has diminished. They have a large bar and nice selection of vermouths, but my gin Dry Martini was made with SWEET vermouth! And they refused to use another-dry- vermouth because “that's the only vermouth the chef requires to be used on our cocktails” WHAT?! So the served my a straight shaken Hendricks. The bolognese sauce on the pappardelle pasta was mediocre...

What a great find! Wonderful and exciting dishes, extremely knowledgeable and genuinely friendly staff, who clearly love their work. We really had a beautiful evening and the BACALÁ- scrumptious!!! Perfectly sized portions; no pretense; just really GOOD food- AND a lovely wine selection. Buonissimo!!!! Can't wait to go again!
