Had the prix fixe menu and the first course, a mix of fish salads, was excellent. Pasta main interesting mix of English peas and artichoke. Fresh pasta is so delicate it probably could have been slightly less cooked. Dessert of Italian cheesecake also good. Service attentive but it was the very end of the night so it got a bit casual.

Donato was the first place we came when our son started at Berkeley and where we ended our journey. We have been many times in between. It is a fantastic restaurant with amazing food and super staff. They are incredibly accommodating and will bend over backwards to make your experience wonderful. A gem in the Oakland / Berkeley area. Highly recommended.
