We hosted my husband's birthday party at the Winery last Friday night. I can't say enough what an amazing experience we had celebrating a big milestone with family and friends. From the planning stages to day of coordination the staff at D&G were amazing.
The winery staff has a family like feel and really prioritize making guests and their events a success. Whether it was welcoming our guests, helping decide on table layouts or managing the flow of the evening they had it all covered. I would HIGHLY recommend hosting here for a special event. We can't wait to come back soon :)
A fantastic spontaneous visit to Berkeley, California led us to this winery. We had gotten together for a funeral, the entire family. The day after we decided get lunch on 4th street. As we were walking down the neighborhood, we encountered Donkey & Goat Winery. Sadly, they were closed. We rang the door bell, just in case. Two lovely employees came out with a lovely dog. We felt very welcomed and had a great time wine tasting. It tasted great. We highly recommend coming here!!
I always love the sheer breadth and variety of natural wines here. A most try place if you’re a local.
Natural winery with flights and take-home bottles available
We hosted an event at Donkey & Goat a few months ago and were blown away by the delicious wine, the awesome, family-friendly atmosphere, and the incredibly helpful and welcoming staff. Donkey & Goat staff went above and beyond to make our event a success, and they even lined up face painting, a taco truck, and cookies for the kids. I am now a huge Donkey & Goat fan and hope that everyone gets a chance to visit and support this awesome winery!
I hosted a gathering of 20 people here the other weekend. Cliff and
Rachael went above and beyond helping me plan and work with our budget. Super cute spot with lovely wine and fancy alcohol-free drinks! Will definitely be back to enjoy the cozy atmosphere inside this winter.
Donkey & Goat hosted a large group for my bday and I couldn't have been happier with the experience.
The large outdoor space easily accommodated 25 of us, and the staff was fast to get wine in our hands and charcuteries on the table! I'll definitely be back soon to try some more wine!
Great experience. Really kind crowd. Looking forward to the next event.
The OG natural winery that doesn't get you hungover.
Jared (the OG winemaker and owner) and Ilana (manager) are the best. They are passionate about good, old world style wine that doesn't get you too messed up too fast nor gets you hungover.
Besides the Urban remedy like benefits the wine is GOOD. Some wines like their pet nats are like a hard kombucha, beautiful on a hot summer's day, while others like their orange stone crushers and ramatos are cool and funky unlike anything you can get anywhere else.
If you want to impress your friends with your palette and bring them to a cool community vibe then bring them here
Interesting how an establishment with such disrespectful and arrogant staff can still be in business in a competitive market. Not to mention their wine tastes like their business name. What a disgrace.

Truly the worst tasting wine one can buy. I wouldn’t drink their selection if it was free.
The worst service I have received. The customer service here was not friendly and they seem to have no good deep knowledge on their wines. Everything I wanted to know I had to ask. Definitely the “wine experience” I wasn’t looking for. Plus the wines are blah and bitter ?
Visited this place for the first time yesterday and I will definitely be back.
Easy parking, clean, open, and well-decorated.
Wonderful customer service - no complaints here AT ALL. Shout out to Erika. She appeared to be the main representative in the front - taking orders for your tastings, allowing you to taste a nice and beautiful variety of wines, and bringing your selections to your table.
She was gracious, generous, and very knowledgeable about the wines. They have such a unique selection and amalgamation of wines. If you are a wine lover – come here! It’s local, different, and delicious.
I will certainly be back!
Thank you, Erika.
All the best to the Donkey & Goat Family.
