I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door and needed to get dinner so walked over and practically had the place to myself. I felt a little bad for them having few customers but I really enjoyed everything. I kept it simple and just ordered pad Thai with chicken and it was perfect. I definitely recommend this restaurant whether you’re staying at the hotel or not - it’s definitely worth a visit!
When I tell you this place is one of the best Thai spots in the Bay, I am not kidding. This place is as authentic as it gets. The owner Alise always greets you with a warm smile and the cook is the sweetest Thai lady who just puts so much heart into her cooking that you could taste it through the dishes! Most impressed about the cleanliness of the restroom. Also absolutely enjoyed talking to the nice waiting staff. Dishes were so so. We ordered 3 Dishes and a soup pad Thai pad eggplantand param beef. I will give them credit for their sliced beef. They didn't batter the meat which we liked. As to the flavors, none stood out. Pad Thai was overly sweet. Tom kha hadn't too much content other than too much coconut milk. Thai tea was ok.
