Best scone I’ve ever had! Stacy and Sara have the scone recipe perfected. It’s a must try.

The vibe here is wonderful. You’ll feel welcomed and nourished. The cafe has greenery inside and out.

Excellent Service, and fun friendly staff. Owned by two local women, one's sister helps out too. Close to the best espresso shots/drinks in all of West&North Berkeley. Generally an all woman staff, Clay, the shop card, has moved on to ever greener pastures. I often run into people I know from about town, and the customers are willing to engage in friendly banter. Much the same menu as Bartavelle, with improvements to the items, like fresh tomatoes on the Avocado Toast, cheese on the ham sandwich, and Fresh Berries both on porridge and the Chia/Granola pudding. For an adventure try the spicy porridge(has nuts in it) with a Jammy Egg(they're BACK!).

Just a wonderful space and place. Yummy savory scones and the best best coffee. And Service with a smile. The Cafe that used to be here the people weren’t very nice, but these people are lovely.

I just love this new café on San Pablo near Cedar. Really good homemade stuff, wonderful savory stuff, and great coffee that doesn’t bother my stomach like most coffees. The employees are really, really super sweet too, and I believe it’s a woman owned business.

Cozy yet bright & spacious cafe with tasty pastries, light sandwiches, and delicious breakfast options. Really fresh, quality, and seasonal ingredients come together for some creative dishes and turn familiar menu items into a culinary experience. If you’re a fan of HighWire coffee, then this is your spot—and I can’t seem to get enough of the iced black chai latte. The sturdy and spacious tables, counter seating, and strong WiFi make Evergreen a great place to fuel up and get some work done, or just chill with a good book or journal. The cafe is run by a warm and friendly team who seem just as happy to make a connection and get to know you as they are to complete your order.

I couldn’t be more thrilled for the whole team—and for all of you who get to experience this gem of a corner in Berkeley. Evergreen Cafe is our new favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. Amazing coffee, tea, and matcha lattes; gorgeous homemade pastries and sandwiches; impeccable toasts — they have it all! I dream about their Persian breakfast. The lighting (and Wi-Fi) are perfect for meetings and work sessions.

Loved the space, service and relaxed vibe. Perfect place for a break with good coffee and food. Stepped out of my comfort zone to try the basque sandwich, and loved it. Highly recommend.
