The homemade tortillas and the mole rojo are incredible. The toppings are fresh and largely organic, and the taquitos are a yummy, deep-fried treat that I need to stop myself from over-ordering. Also, the hot salsa is a MUST but it might burn your lips off. A fantastic local gem.

Don’t really see what the hype is. We had been wanting to try this place for over a year, but the hours are so limited it took us forever to find time to go, and we were sorely disappointed when we finally did. Food was bland and took 45 minutes to come out. We ordered refried beans but got black beans with no explanation, seems they were already out, despite having been open for only half an hour when we ordered. The black beans seemed like they came unseasoned out a can and heated up. The black beans even at Chipotle are better than these. The Horchata was watery and separating in the cup. Soy chicken was seemingly completely unseasoned. Had to put 3x the amount of salsa on my huarache plate for it to be palatable. The outdoor seating area only had 5 rickety tables and tons of people were waiting around standing for their food. No limes in sight.

Mole Rojo tacos are absolutely amazing!!! Everything is great especially the tofu taquitos which were my standard until I tried the tacos…. The staff makes friends straight away and makes you feel at home in some respects. Vegan or not you will not miss the animal products.
