I love this place and their beer! I first had one at Alvarado Street Brew in Monterey, CA. They’ve got great sours and fruit forward IPAs for me and beer that tastes like beer for my BF. I wish they had more seating but that’s not a reason to rate below 5 starts. Maybe they will open a bigger location in Alameda or Oakland ?? DOG FRIENDLY

Please never stop making the black cherry cream soda !!! I’ve never tasted a cherry soda that compared anywhere near this. This soda has tied for #1 only rivaled by Shonen elderberry cream soda. You guys are amazing. Good beers too!

I am traveling down the coast and was excited to see that there is a great notion spot here! Nice and clean area. The drinks are tasty as always!!

Went in with coworkers the other night, its right down the block and we go often. But Ian and Kate really made it a wonderful experience. Great rotating drink selection, the weird and delicious cantina drank. They have a wonderful taste in art and they continually support local food trucks and whatnot by partnering with and hosting all sorts. Definitely worth the stop.

Excellent clean , friendly, and laid back establishment . Professional , knowledgeable , with first class customer service !No feeling of awkwardness , almost like a local bar . But without the heavy air and darkness . They’re Fortunes told is first class of ipas . Fresh , clean , refreshing dipa , with minimal aftertaste on pallet . A heavy 10% abv , with light tones of mosaic hops . Definitely a crowd pleaser . Settled on an empty stomach like a bud light , hit like a Lagunitas Waldo’s triple ale ! Economical , neighbor and out of town friendly establishment . Highly recommend . Thank you for making my 2 hour wait for Apple phone repair on a Saturday painless and enjoyable lol! Dillion is a knowledgeable ,intelligent , easy going , good listner , and honest tender of the establishment , A must have of representing the companies quality products . Genuine , non artificial , good old east bay man . Kudos to him ! AAAAA++++++!
