Excellent clean , friendly, and laid back establishment . Professional , knowledgeable , with first class customer service !No feeling of awkwardness , almost like a local bar . But without the heavy air and darkness . They’re Fortunes told is first class of ipas . Fresh , clean , refreshing dipa , with minimal aftertaste on pallet . A heavy 10% abv , with light tones of mosaic hops . Definitely a crowd pleaser . Settled on an empty stomach like a bud light , hit like a Lagunitas Waldo’s triple ale ! Economical , neighbor and out of town friendly establishment . Highly recommend . Thank you for making my 2 hour wait for Apple phone repair on a Saturday painless and enjoyable lol! Dillion is a knowledgeable ,intelligent , easy going , good listner , and honest tender of the establishment , A must have of representing the companies quality products . Genuine , non artificial , good old east bay man . Kudos to him ! AAAAA++++++!

Great beer and service. A ton of sours and hazys, which was perfect for me and the hubs. Wish there woulda been a food truck or something but they did have poke bowls they sold out of, just not my jam. Nicely decorated and not too loud.

They make great beer. IPAs (mostly Hazy) and Pastry Sours are what they are known for, but they have other options as well. Decent amount of seating to be had both inside and outside. Employees were friendly, and service was reasonably fast.

This place is incredible! Some of the most interesting beers I've ever had, like a blueberry cheesecake that was slightly tart but so easy to drink and really tasted like having a desert! And yet they have stouts and IPAs as well, all with interesting twists on flavor. Great variety of cans to go as well.

If you want the best tasting beer come here. Might be the best ever I’ve had. If there’d be a drop of a dollar off the beer during 5-7 it’d be SRO. Standing room only.Owners may could go to RRB Santa Rosa for illustrations in a vibe where perfection meets the common man. Great Notion is the best beer I’ve been privileged to consume—I’m not certain but I don’t think anyone made me say that.

Incredible beer at a convenient location on 4th street in North Berkeley. They took over the old Sierra Nevada Torpedo Room and did a nice job. Was always hoping they'd make it down to the Bay from Oregon. The most underrated part is their can art, which is as good as I've seen from any brewery (I'm a nerd, I know). Hopefully they offer food someday but the food trucks fill the gap reasonably well. Another benefit is you can easily brewery hop to other nearby places like Cellarmaker Berkeley, Trumer, and Gillman.

Portland got us hooked. Favorite beer hands down. The bartenders were friendly and it was an awesome experience as always. Definitely worth a trip. The brews literally never disappoint and nowhere else compares ☺️??

We stopped here the other day while walking on 4th Street. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they have a wide selection of draft beers and a food truck just outside. As a bonus they're dog friendly and even had a treat for our puppy. I'll definitely recommend this place and will be back soon.

Cool sours, tons of beers that rotate throughout the year, funky decor, flights to try everything, cool merch, tv's playing sportson a street not far from a shopping center so there is stuff to check out in the neighborhood. Indoor no patio, I dont think there is a dedicated parking lot, closes early. Def worth checking out

This is probably my favorite brewery in East Bay to go to after finding out about it at a Yelp Elite event. They have so many fun options, especially if you enjoy sours. I also randomly came here on a Tuesday night and learned that they host Trivia Tuesday as a fun option! I got a 5 x 5 oz flight ($19) with Passionfruit Mochi IPA, Blueberry Muffin Sour, Fruit Monster Sour, Vanillazilla, and Strawberry & Kiwi Seltzer. My favorites were the blueberry muffin sour (it actually tastes like blueberry muffin!) and the vanillazilla. They were out of the Big Papaya sour, so that will definitely be on my order when I go next time!
