The staff were very welcoming. We were celebrating a birthday and they made it special for our birthday gal.

Delicious food, wonderful job done by the cook. Very entertaining and he made the best out of the situation. That said, the server forgot about our appetizers and we were never checked on for more refreshments.

Womens bathroom needs deep cleaning. Overall cleanliness and maintenance is not at the level of a respected restaurant.

I've been in Richmond for 10 years and passed this restaurant on my way to the Marina many times. Never knew it was there! I am ashamed. This was the best experience I've had in a long time. The food was amazing! Better than Benihana's to me! The food was so flavorful and the staff were perfect! Thank you for making my birthday dinner very memorable .

Food and chef were good! Bar was very late in getting drink order out an no time to do a second round.

First time here, Too much salt in the fried rice - better to tell the chef not to add salt - service could be better, I ordered 2 cocktails (the sa) and I got two different ones. It's quite awkward that they offer free appetizer for birthday people but only for more than 4 ppl table... it's doesn't make any sense. Also needs some TLC , better cleaning , looks old and dated,

My wife and daughter had an amazing time. Our server and chef were wonderfully engaging and took very good care of us. We look forward to our next visit!

Amazing, as usual!! We love this place & were honored to take my MIL while she was in town!! And finally took our newborn for the first time!!

There was misleading advertising on Yelp for promotions and birthday meals. The napkin didn't smell good. The birthday cake service was charged $25, and the staff member was not even good at dividing the cake—one of the few restaurants that I won't pick next time after one time trying.

Food is always great the show the chefs put on is always wonderful always a great time when I go

The experience is always nice, they just need to change the show part. I came for Mother's Day so a month later I watched the same show. But our chef was nice and kept a conversation that included everyone. Food was good but it took quite some time to get everything started. Reservation was a 6:30, we got seated at 7 and the cooking started at 7:30. It was super slow. Overall we all liked the food.

We had an absolute blast. Our chef was phenomenal, the food was great, the ambiance was wonderful. We left very happy!

First time here and I've lived in Berkeley for 25 years! We went for my son's 17th birthday and had a blast.
