I arrived at this location at 9:45 and they were closed. The website says they are open until midnight but they are closed now.

When the pickles are the best thing at a BBQ spot, you know the food is bad. Read the reviews of multiple people. This place is bland, expensive AND bad service. I genuinely hope that someone gets hired in the kitchen that has taste buds.

First, it costs nothing to salt food. Or cayenne pepper or paprika. Literally everything is flavorless. Shells and cheese need salt, pepper, any sort of seasoning and the shells are overcooked. The fried chicken Is the same. I mean, doesnt KFC use at least 11.spices? The ribs, shockingly flavorless. If you want actual BBQ just walk 4 more blocks north up San Pablo.

This place is meant to capture people that prioritize drinking over food. The prices are borderline aggregrious for what you actually get. Totally disappointing and I bet this place doesnt make it 2 years.

If you work here and care, then hire some people to taste your food and listen to the feedback. Oh please stop eating in your own kitchen, it's not great watching you eat the bland stuff you serve your customers.

Luckily I work down the street, good go to lunch spot! Alex is the best always super nice and so is the rest of the staff! Brisket melt is my fav!

Food is great. I enjoyed the ribs, tri tip , sausage and Mac n cheese. Lemonade delicious. Potato salad was ok.

Ordered 1/2lb of Brisket, 1/2rack of pork ribs, Vaquero Beans, Arroz verde, Texas frito pie. The only thing my wife and I weren't happy with was the brisket (a bit dry and tough). Everything else was stellar!!! Will definitely go back! Next time we'll leave off the brisket and try the chicken instead. Yum!

We found it on line. I think someone watched the food ch , and said I can do that. No you can't. The small ribs what animal did they come from ?The mac and cheese would have been better from the box. The place is cute , but I felt like we paid for the neighborhood not the food.

My son and I stopped by for dinner before the Mac Demarco concert. I asked the waitress what she would recommend and she said the Dino rib or the brisket sandwich. We ordered both. The Dino rib 😋🤤 was AMAZING!!!! Best rib I have ever tasted in my life!!! The sweet bbq sauce and the Cali gold bbq sauce were the icing on the cake. There was so much meat on the rib we didn’t even touch our sandwich. Definitely will go back! Thank you!

First time in and I’ll be back! The ribs fell off the bone. The portion was great for the pricing. Loved the pickles and coleslaws too. Super clean spot. Our group really enjoyed heads n tails. Till next time!

Where else can you get real Kölsch, Guinness, Trumer (the Pride of Beerkeley) and Texas BBQ -- PLUS awesome people? If you think you can then you have your heads up your tails.

Got there late so didn’t get to try the food but I found what I needed, which was a good local beer and a friendly service. The place was very spacious and with live TVs on the wall. I think I will come back here to catch a game and will definitely try the bbq next time.

We had chicken salad🔥, brisket burger🔥, brisket sando🔥, we WILL go back for the rest of the menu. Cole slaw was delish,
Burnt ends were a little too manufactured for me. The cubes were too perfect.
