Heroic Italian Berkeley

This is my second visit in 3 weeks, coming from out of town!! The first visit was a recommendation and the second visit was our choice!!! First thing that stood out was customer service/graciousness! We were immediately greeted with kindness. The service was exceptional as well!! Now to the food!! Excellent; a variety of unique choices and flavors. I do not live in Berkeley but lately have been making trips down from Northern California. This has become my new meet up spot when gathering with friends I've decided!

The food is tasty and there is variety. I had fettuccine with pesto that was delicious, another person had Caesar salad with chicken that looked marvelous and my husband red pasta with red sauce and meatballs. Everyone liked their food. We sat inside because it was cold outside. The service was rapid and helpful. They have a variety of hot and cold beverages. Perfect place for a show at the Berkeley Rep.

Food and service great, sat outside. We went to a show at the greek so bit of a walk but worked out great. Parked nearby.

A wonderful spot for a delicious Tuscan dinner with friends Al fresco. Might be noisy inside but food will be equally delicious.

Heroic Italian in Berkeley offers a flavorful, health-conscious twist on classic Italian cuisine. Highlights include the Caesar Shrimp Salad, Vegan Pesto Pizza, and a refreshing mango sorbet. Paired with a mimosa and Vermentino wine, the meal was vibrant and satisfying. Attentive service and inviting ambiance complete the experience.

We had a lovely lunch here. We sat outside on a very nice spring day. The sandwiches we ordered were great. The server was attentive. We would definitely come back for lunch again.

We went there for lunch. As it's wet outside, we picked a table inside. The sandwiches we ordered were excellent. Courteous and speedy service. It was a pleasant experience.

A nice quiet place slightly off the bustle of downtown Berkeley. Good value and a nice place to actually communicate instead of getting drowned out by too much noise.

I like quiet music because people wants to relax it and I enjoy eating the Italian food and I come back next day!

Quaint neighborhood wine and small/large plates. Food was excellent, service was great. Indoor and outdoor seating. Close to BART and parking garage next door.

The ambiance was so lovely for our party of 30! The artichoke appetizer and shrimp pizza was great as well, but both pastas (pesto, red) were disappointing. I had a wonderful time though~
