Vegetarian options: I had the Mount Etna salad and it was one of the best salads I've ever had! Really colourful with interesting textures and flavours, and warm ingredients were welcome on a cold rainy day! There were lots of other vegetarian options that looked tempting too.

The Berkeley location of this restaurant is rather small, just a few tables, and I felt fortunate that we were there at an off-peak time, between lunch and dinner, because with one loud party in the place the noise level would have become almost unbearable. As it was, my friend and I had an enjoyable, mellow repast. The food is good but nothing to write home about: I had pesto rotini and the shrimp, which came with some bread. The service was kind and attentive.

Had a fun and fabulous Galentines' brunch here on a rainy Saturday. The weather was a bummer but the inside space is very cozy and welcoming with efficient and friendly service. Our party of four enjoyed an assortment of sandwiches, appetizers and pasta. The Montesacro Pinseria sandwich bread is amazing and since it's baked w/ Italian wheat, it's easier on the gut (as we learned from the manager). We'll be back for the wine when it's Happy Hour! Thx.

The food came out so quick and the service members were so kind and attentive. If it wasn't so cold out my friend and I would've enjoyed sitting on the patio it was gorgeous! Overall lovely experience with lovely people working that night. And shoutout the tiramisu, it was gas.

Pretty mediocre and below average pasta for what you pay for. Waitress simply brought the food and walked away. No attention given to patrons after they order even though there were only two people in the restaurant.

Patient and responsive server. Delicious food but small servings for the price and none of the touted bread offered with the dishes. Needed bread and was able to pay extra for some. Server accommodated our needs at a chilly outdoor table by moving heater closer and increasing flame. Recommend.

After reading the reviews, I was expecting an excellent sandwich, and was willing to pay for it.....but it was just so-so. The bread was not very good and slightly stale, and not sourdough enough....you know, like a dumbed down generic bread.....the ratio of condiments to meat and vegetables was also off. And man, when I pay so much money for a sandwich, I expect it to be on point. I will not be back.

I got the OMG sandwich and it was great! The bread was light and fluffy with a good crust, and all the italian sandwich meat was a great combo! My friend ordered the vegan sandwich and couldn't finish it so I had the rest. It was one of the best vegan sandwiches I've had! Ton of flavor and didn't miss the meat. Will definitely come back!

I rarely write reviews but I felt the need to warn others before they make the same mistake I did. There is nothing Heroic here, more like wimpy. $20 per sandwich is crazy. The reason the OMG has its name is because you’ll be saying “OMG” when you see how small it is. You would be better off buying the ingredients and making yourself multiple tastier sandwiches for the amount you’ll pay here.

We waited 30 mn for someone to take our order and 30 mn to receive our food. Almost half of the card was not available (not even pizzas, in an italian restaurant !!!). We had to pick our forks and knives by ourselves, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. They got our drink order wrong. The service was very slow and not very knowledgable about their own card. The amount of food (raviolis) was not even filling up half the plate. Avoid at all cost!!

Highly recommend! Such a sweet spot. Adorable little outdoor patio. I just grabbed an OMG sandwich to go and so happy I did. Excellent quality, superb taste. Incredible meats + truffle mayo + giardiniera + roasted tomatoes = heavenly Sammy. Not cheap but well worth a splurge. Lovely and kind service. Sad the Santa Monica location closed but now I have something to look forward to when I'm in the Bay Area.

We ate in their beautiful patio area on a warm, balmy evening. A 2-woman musical duo provided live music, which was at a nice low volume and very tasteful. My friend had a pizza with vegan cheese and he loved it. I had a chicken sandwich with a nice combination of flavors and textures. It was less than a 10-minute to Berkeley Rep, so be sure to drop in before going to the theater.

The waitress questioned my food and drink choices in a way that didn't feel comfortable or playful, and then didn't show up for over 20 minutes when I wanted to order a second drink. Then when asked to split the check they charged me $10 more than the other person. I was fine with it and didn't complain, but instead of saying "sorry" she said "it's just $5".Yeah, food was good, but not returning
