Wow! The Heyma latte is my absolute favorite coffee in Berkeley. The staff is great, patiently answered all my questions. Super space, lots of seating, some folks typing, some chatting, but everyone enjoying delicious coffees and wonderful pastries.

I regularly come here when I am in the area doing laundry. I am very happy with the drinks the sell here. My favorite is the Mufawar but they often have a new smoothie or something like that and they are usually pretty good.

Great place to spend time with family and friends. The aroma was warm and inviting the moment we walked in. They were able to comfortably accommodate our big family and still provide excellent service, even during busy hours. The employees were incredibly sweet, respectful, and attentive, which made us feel truly welcome. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely come back again.

I like this spot a lot, they are open late, plenty of space, lots of fancy beverage options and traditional pastries like milk cake and baklava. I usually order a pastry because they are so hard to resist but I do try to cut down on my animal product intake so maybe having a vegan baklava as an option would be nice as I’ve seen some other places where that’s available.

We walked out of the place. It was dark, late, the pasteries looked stale, and the cashier looked like a robot. She stared straight ahead, ignored us, and when we decided she glanced at her manager with a snide look. There were people drinking coffee and eating pasteries. Everyone seemed so non-plussed in there. It was not a pleasant experience, but the cashier made it less inviting.
I bought a thyme pastry from here this morning, and after eating it, I went to the toilet three times. My stomach is still burning, it's 12 AM now, and I felt compelled to leave this review. I haven't eaten anything else since, and my stomach is still burning.
