It’s a cozy place to study. I wish they’d expand their menu to have full meals, different protein options. I would buy more food. It’s hard to just keep eating the breaded and fried snack items every time I come. Also more non-caffeinated teas. The boxed ones are bleh. So not many drink options late at night if you don’t want caffeine!

The food and coffee are great.
The service is good and friendly except once they mistakenly gave a beef turnover instead of a vegetarian one.
The restrooms are unclean and not maintained regularly.

Great spot. Great coffee.
Turkish coffee had it before and it was smooth with foam on top. This one was ok but did the trick and woke me up. The orange coconut cake was delicious. The Yemen tea my wife ordered was perfect.

Visiting from NJ and decided to walk from my hotel for coffee vs. hotel's coffee. Was greeted warmly by the young lady behind the counter. The music and decor is lovely. I had the rosemilk cake, the Heyma latte, and the Yemeni tea. I didn't want to leave! Also, as a Muslim, it was nice to see representation in the art. Wonderful!

The customer service was terrible. Before driving from San Jose to the coffee shop, I had called to place an order for pick up as I was on a time crunch already. After finally finding parking on the side of a street parking, I walked into the shop and waited in the long line up. When my turn came, I was happy that it was the same girl I spoke to over the phone that was at the cash. I told her I am here to pick up my order. Instantly I knew that she had forgotten to even make my order and she just responded with "It will take 20 min". I was so frustrated and furious! I explained to her that I drove for so long to get here, what was the purpose of me calling to place an order? She just walked away. I was extremely upset and just left the coffee shop. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone. There are far more better yemeni coffee shops and I rather take my business elsewhere where my time is respected and valued.
