Insomnia Cookies

I went here on 11/6 and dude behind the counter was being weird, wouldn't sell me and my girlfriend a pint, felt targeted. Will not be going here anymore. Annoying that I can't even buy ice cream in peace in Berkeley of all places.

I frequent here often. I usually do online orders but due to how busy you guys are and how long you end up waiting I decided to go in person this time to order. I asked if I could get a pint of ice cream. The gentleman told me that you guys do ice cream by the scoop. So I asked for 2 scoops. However, I've gotten a pint before and there is a pint listed and priced at $14.50 on the physical menu. I'm just curious.... why can't I get a pint? Like I even pointed to the pint that's a displayed as an example... like... I just find it quite interesting that we happen to be people of color my mans black, I am Arab and black, I'm just curious given the results of today, what was the intention behind that?

Damn good cookies. Gluten free, vegan chocolate chip was BOMB. And it ain’t easy to make a cookie without those key ingredients.

Super friendly employees

I went there at 1 am for a nice warm cookie and I got it, but the line was so long. I was about to quit halfway through, but the friendly workers made it worth the wait. Very welcoming and upbeat, keeping the line entertained. Oh and the cookie was amazing. Definitely going back

Just like other Insomias I’ve been to! Open late and ready for my sugar cravings, Insomnia almost never misses. While most of their cookies are not vegan, they have three tasty, clearly labeled vegan options. They also have a vegan & gluten free cookie too. In the past they’ve had a fourth vegan seasonal cookie and so keep an eye on their site for more options. They will even ask if you want vegan cookies separate from non-vegan (good when ordering with friends) and everything is clearly labeled with ‘vegan’ sticker labels.

The vegan cookies here were pretty disappointing. Insomnia Cookies really didn't try at all with the recipe, not worth going to. It just tasted bad and weird. Now I see why non vegans think vegan food sucks, if this is the type of food they're usually trying. 3 stars instead of 2 because it's awesome that they're open late, it's a good concept

Insomnia is a really quaint addition to the student-accessible food stops around campus! Their staff are super chill and nice too! The cookies and drinks are decently priced for what it is as well. They also have some vegan options, which I really appreciated! I wish they made tipping staff a little easier, but either way, I’d definitely recommend!

The staff are friendly and the atmosphere in the store is great!! The ice cream was really delicious, cheap, and there was a lot of it, so I was happy? (I took the picture while I was eating it, but when I first got it, the amount was much bigger! It was almost like a mountain!!) I felt they were really careful about having a vegan menu and a gluten-free menu Delicious desserts. If you like it, I highly recommend this place!!

It's next to a university so this location is a student budget friendly location for pocket. However that don't compromise on the quality of the food. I would definitely revisit again.
