We were bike riding around Berkeley during quarantine and stopped by this place for a quick slice of pizza before riding around some more. We unknowingly arrived as they were closing but they still had the door open and they happily served us a few slices of pepperoni to go. The pizza was delicious, cheesy and hot when we received it. The slices are thin crust and a little greasy but it was yummy! We would definitely stop by here again to grab a slice or two.

This place advertises as a New York style pizza and you can buy pizza by the slice and thats the only good thing about this place . Recently, went in and nobody was inside because of covid, you cannot eat inside perhaps i should have left, but i didn't. I ordered the combo pizza and guy at the counter got my pizza wrong and gave me a pepperoni. Also, notice that pizza was really oily and looks saggy. So i told him you got my order wrong. So by the time i got my combo pizza i notice the way the olives and green peppers were cut into really tiny pieces that just looks funny. I would think he just modified that pepperoni pizza. And as far as taste it pretty much taste like that frozen pizza you buy at the grocery so avoid this place.

Probably my favorite pizza place in Berkeley. Abe's crust is too thick, Sliver's crust is too chewy, and Artichoke's is overpriced. iSlice is your standard, New York style slice for a reasonable price. Flavor is quite good as well.

This place is honestly just simply great. The pizza is a thin crust and all the toppings just shine. My favorite is the Long Island. Yeah, it does have pineapple, but don't knock 'til you try it. It's amazing. They also serve calzones and the Supreme is my favorite. It's a small, homey feel to the shop. It's a little easy to miss. All in all, great place and to top it off, the owner is super nice.

This place is not open consistently, but I did catch it while it was open one day, I got two slices and a soda for $7 which I thought was a deal. The pizza was not greasy, and had a good crust, I like the thin NY crust. The guy behind the counter was nice, and a bit chatty, which is a bonus to me. I want to try it again, because the price was right...

At the first moment you step in this place team give you a comfortable feeling. Very congenial hosts, it is a lovely restaurant to hang out with your friends or with your date. tasty meals, skillful chef de cuisine, modest price and nice service. Highly recommended.

I really like their pizza esp the chicken bacon ranch :) Food: I have tried both their chicken bacon ranch and their meat lovers pizza and personally I would say that the chicken bacon ranch is a lot better. The flavor of the pizza was a lot like eating a poutine but a lot lighter. I really liked how their pizza is thin crusted and it made it feel a lot less heavy. Overall I really like their flavors but the top of the pizza sometimes falls off, leaving just the crust so not sure if they cook it weird or if it's just me lol Service: I usually order through Snackpass but workers have always been super nice Ambience: a smallish store with maybe like 3 seating tables

Pretty good new little spot. Thin crust pizza that isn't soggy and has a good balance of toppings to crust. The service is ok here. The guy behind the counter is the owner I think because he's always there. He's friendly but not very enthusiastic. But top quality service isn't that important for a little pizza spot like this in my opinion. It's all about the taste! They put the perfect amount of cheese on and the sauce is pretty good. I'll definitely be coming here over other pizza places because it's less greasy and heavy than most of the others I've tried around here. Sprinkle some oregano on your slice for a little extra flavor! I got the cheese pizza and soda as part of the student special. It's $4.50 for a slice of cheese and a can of soda which is a pretty good price for what you get. The slice isn't as big and thick as other places around here but it is definitely filling enough. They also have another deal that is pretty good if you aren't a student: $7 for two slices and a can of soda. Great deal! They also have cannolis which I haven't tried yet but I don't know of any other place near campus that you can get cannolis at!

iSlice takes over Sunrise Deli's space. infrastructure similar to before. just a few tables for inside dining. not much waiting room. iSlice specializes in New York Pizza. offerings: pizza, calzone, eats: slice cheese pizza, (3.50) -chewy, semi thick, cheese single layered pizza -salty taste without much cheesiness. leftovers: -order, pay, no direction where food was dispersed saw it was over the counter. some orders had name, some none. pizza better than average, would repeat if i had no other options.
