4 star place, 3 star wait. Beer: had the Space Cats Hazy IPA was very nice! Taproom: nice and spacious, no frills place. You could really hear the rain coming down! Pizza: was very good. Nice Detroit fluffy crust. I had the 1/2 Roni pizza which was a good amount for lunch along with a beer. Tasty! But: Wait for the pizza: at lunch w a lite lunchtime crowd it still took 30 minutes to get my 2-slice 1/2 pizza. Very not good. I'm glad I didn't have anywhere I needed to be, that was a long 1/2 hr.

Great pizza and fun drinks. Seating is what you would expect for a brewery but it's a nice environment and dog friendly! Appreciated the non alcoholic drink options and all the variety of pizzas! The pizza came out pretty quick, it's counter service but we enjoyed speaking with the lady who took our order. Would come again for the vibes and pizza! Maybe even on a nice day to sit outside!

I really enjoy hanging out here for beer tasting. Friendly staff, super chill place, and clean. I always go with the tasting flight which comes with 6 beer of your choice. The Detroit style pizza was very unique, I never had Detroit style pizza before this and I love the crust!

I was here this weekend on Saturday to celebrate a friends birthday and it was about 20 or so people spending hella money on beer and pizza and tipping w each transaction only for the people working there at the end of the night to literally refuse to take a photo of our group.. so awkward and weird because I don't think I've ever had anyone in the world ever say no to taking a pic ever. In my life. They're lucky the pizza here is bomb so I MIGHT be back for take out if I'm desperate but I would never sit here and eat or drink ever again. And the beer was whatever. Nothing outstanding or memorable but the awful service at the end unfortunately really took away from anything positive. I'm not Keith Lee or anything but for a group of black people in Berkeley to be treated like that is notable and very telling of the ownerships sentiments.

Great place for beer flights as they have a wide range of selections. We came here on Friday for lunch and there was plenty of indoor seating, outdoor seating, and seats facing the sidewalk if you want to people watch. What puts this place over the top for me is Joyride Pizza. They make square Detroit style pies which remind me of pan pizzas except with a ton of extra cheese on the edge which makes a cheesy crisp with the crust. Freaking amazing!

Filled my 32 Oz growler today. Felt a little light. Got it home and cracked it open. 3 inches of extra space. For $8 per beer I expect to get a full growler. Lame.
As far as the beer they had a good list with lots of choices, the food was pizza and it was probably some of the best pizza I've had in a very long time there was a lot of choices with an emphasis on vegan and vegetarian, but don't get me wrong. There was nothing wrong with that me and my buddy are both professional chefs and we could not get over how good the pizza was we actually went and told the staff how good it was because it was worthy of that the space is big and industrial with lots of indoor outdoor room.

I went there for the first time today. I don't live in Berkeley, but I have appointment every 3 months and love trying new restaurants there. I was pleasantly surprised how good the Bianca Pizza & Brussel Sprout are!!! So yummy!!! I would love to try another one next time in January!!!

Vibes were great, especially on a beautiful day! Lots of seating indoors & outdoors, which is also dog friendly :)Food was amazing! I ordered a sweet bianca pizza w/bacon It was the perfect combo of sweet and savory. Also ordered tacos (mushroom, carnitas, & fish) from Dos Raicez, which is located right outside on Sundays & Tuesdays. If you're more of a veggie lover, I highly recommend their mushroom taco!

We couldn't have had a more positive experience hosting our wedding weekend welcome event at Gilman Brewing. Prior to the event, Michael was both prompt and helpful in answering our questions, securing the space, and choosing the right drinks for our crowd. The Gilman team also prepared seamlessly with their recommended caterer, Dos Raicez, to ensure their food truck would be ready to serve delicious tacos to our guests! On the day of the event, Michael and the Gilman team went above and beyond to help us set-up the room with not only their furniture, heat lamps, votives, audio, etc. but also items we brought (e.g., extra nonalcoholic drinks, decorations). The space looked great with the string lights, and the audio system worked beautifully for music and wedding toasts, too! On the whole, we loved working with Gilman and would keep them top-of-mind for future events. We felt supported by the amazing team to host a wonderful evening with 100+ family and friends, and our guests enjoyed both the beers and the fun space.

Obsessed, I had their sweet Bianca pizza yesterday, I am still thinking about! It’s sweet from the figs and savory from the cheese, deep dish type of crust, perfection. The garlic knots were great as well and good portion!
