Went in this afternoon , small crowd. The service was excellent and the fish for sushi is exceptionally fresh. Would definitely recommend it if you are in the cute neighborhood. Clean interior too which makes it nice to dine in.

I’ve been going there since they owned a few years ago Food is consistently good and service great My only complaint is the portions are really small Got a rainbow roll tonight and each roll was about 1/2 of the size I was expecting

Asaka is a friendly neighborhood sushi bar and Japanese restaurant and I enjoyed dinner very much. They were extremely polite and courteous, very good service and food is served quickly.
The restaurant is decorated nicely and has a charming feel to it. Not overly modernized yet a modern feel. Yet also a cozy sushi bar feel. Well done!
Three of us had a couple bento boxes and a nigiri and sashimi combo. Dinner requires three item bento, and the tempura was the star. Nicely battered and fried just right. Chicken teriyaki was chicken teriyaki, if you know what I mean. The California rolls were good… they go the extra mile and mince the imitation crab as opposed to some places that just slice a little chunk. And the spicy tuna roll was not really spicy but tasty enough.
The sashimi and nigiri were very fresh and decently portioned. I prefer smaller and higher quality, which is what they served. They could go a little hotter on the wasabi. Theirs was mild.
And of course miso soup and salad with that sesame dressing I love. Fun meal, great place.

Had several rolls and miso soup. Wasabi is mild for our palate, but the real snow crab in rolls is awesome!
Been here twice now, I like ordering non sushi items and sushi. Tofu agedashi is fantastic, fried udon with seafood is great. The fish is fresh and the portions are fair. Lots of families with kids eat here, so maybe come later if that is an issue. Very pleasant and quick service. Not just a neighborhood spot, it is worth coming to from farther away.

Very welcoming atmosphere and amazing food. Huge selection, great prices for a change! We ordered the tempura veggie salad with delicious creamy ginger dressing, a soft shell crap roll which was made to perfection and salmon skin roll. Plenty of food for two!
