Love this place!!!! The food is excellent. I've been here several times, and they did not disappoint. The Chica Chica Mirada, Mar y Terra ? it's excellent. I've dine-in, delivery, and take out - never disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Amazing experience- no complaints! Came in on taco tuesdays so I had to get 4 tacos for $10 (amazing value) and got two pupusas (revuelta and a chicharron cheese with ADDED garlic). The added garlic elevated everything! loved the cole slaw, the pupusas were delicious, and tacos were pretty awesome too :)Also the lady who was serving us (didn't catch her name) was so sweet! All her recommendations helped a lot!

Stumbled on this place after finding another Salvadoran restaurant closed. And we are so glad we did! The food here is delicious! It came out fresh and hot from the kitchen, and amazingly flavorful. The service was so friendly. The only drawback was all the TVs on the walls, but we found a spot where we couldn't see them.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegan options, like the bean papusas and the platanos (no crema)

5 minutes before they closed, I accidentally forgot to order 2 fish so they made a second fish better than the original one.Meanwhile I ate the chicken pupusas and they were so crispy with a strong smell I knew they were delicious before I even saw them. The food was so hot it was burning my fingers holding it and when I got home it was still hot which is perfect for a to go takeout order.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, there are no stairs

OMG!! The pupusas were so good..old school pupusas recipe..the taco al pastor is best I had in Berkeley.. can't believe I never walk in before.. definitely coming back to try the rest of their menu..FYI.. they are closed on Sunday

Decent carne asada fries! They are crispy if eaten quickly, perfectly topped, and have okay flavor and seasoning. Their pupusas are also very flavorful and great! The outer shell is crunchy while the inside is tender and flavorful. The restaurant is pretty dark to eat in, and they do use cardboard for their fries which can be very soggy. It is also quite busy at times so the wait can be long as well-- which is why it's 4! The fries are ~$14 after tax though which is on the pricier side. I recommend eating in for the food as it is fresh and the condensation can really sober up the food. They also sometimes give a bag of marinated veggies which I really enjoyed, but I noticed that they stopped this during my last two orders. However, the red sauce and veggies were complimentary the times before. The Mexican horchata and Salvadorean horchata tasted relatively the same, both were on the sweeter side.

Amazing. Took a little bit for our food, but 100% worth it. Quesabirra is a must order.

Excellent food and fast service. Great if you want a quick bite before going to the jazz club or Berkeley Rep. Try adding Salvadoran tortillas to your dish for a tasty change. If you don't like home-in-the wall vibes (or a TV in the dining area), go for takeout.

My personal favorite al pastor in Berkeley! We've tried several dishes from super nachos, burritos, quesa birria, pupusas, tacos, asada fries, etc over the past couple years. Everything has been delicious, and we've never been disappointed.Give it a try if you're on the fence.

Awesome pupusas, plenty of curtido, and yummy Salvadorean horchata (My first time trying! Tastes like sesame and peanuts). Yum!

I go here every taco tuesday for the $10 taco special. The service is very quick and professional. Definitely a top 5 place for any high school or college student or anyone around.
