Terrible. Been there twice and messed up my order on both accounts. The carne asada is just ground hamburger and they throw beans on their tacos which is mentioned nowhere on their menu.

Where do I begin? The owners are phenomenal! So kind and go above and beyond. Amy, in particular, is a sweetheart and did not hesitate to assist me with even the smallest favor. The food was delicious (I ordered the al pastor burrito and al pastor tacos ). The red sauce was a little spicier than I wanted, but thats not a bad thing as I prefer green sauce and theirs is sooo good!! I 100% recommend if you are in the area. They are also open pretty late, which is another amazing thing about this perfect little fusion restaurant. 10/10 for the food, service and overall experience.

Awesome authentic cooked food. The flavors are great and I love the different varieties of options. Not many restaurants like this around. Can't wait to come here again and try another item. Highly recommend.

Ordered asada and al pastor burrito through app on a Friday midnightGreat serving and delivery timeReasonable price and good sizeA lot of rice and not a lot of meatAsada is lacking flavor - wouldn't recommend. Should've tried California instead.Al pastor has a mild spicy sauce so it's much more flavorful.Overall I would not order again unless I crave Mexican in the middle of the night again.

I ate here today and the staff was very kind and friendly, but unfortunately there was a large bug in my food. Another reviewer has said the same thing so it must be an ongoing problem. The food was very mediocre at best even before I found the bug. I posted a photo for reference. Be cautious when eating here.

Was looking for some grub on Thanksgiving Day and my options near campus were either L'Gusto, IB Hoagies or Cheng Du, and I went with L'Gusto, and I'm glad I did. Upon entering the worker is super friendly and greets you right away (I think the two working today might have been the owners: older folks manning all the stations tonight and cooking everything). It was a breeze putting in my order myself at one of their self-service kiosks near the entrance. If you're paying by cash, just tell the person at the counter and they will ring you up manually. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small, with only about three seats, so on busier days it will be cramped and hard for people to move around (Suggestion to owners: Maybe move one of the kiosks outside near the entrance, like some small restaurants with kiosks do, which will give more room for customers to walk in and out of the entrance while other customers are placing orders at the kiosk). I ordered the Cal Breakfast Burrito which was made pretty quickly and was HUGE. I was not expecting it to be as big as it was (bigger than the "Super"/large size I usually get at Gordo's but probably similar or slightly bigger than a large size burrito at Chipotle and more affordable than either), so the price is super reasonable for the portion you're getting. When I got home it was still warm. The burrito was great (egg was very tasty and hit the spot) and was very filling, I could only finish half though before I was WAY too full, so I had leftovers for tomorrow. The only downside I saw with L'Gusto is the small space (but most of the restaurants here are similarly small too), and there are plenty of seats in the Asian Ghetto's patio area if you're looking to stay and eat. I will definitely be back to try more of their burritos and tacos! Honestly surprised by it's three-star rating because the food is great, it's one of the few Asian and Latin fusion restaurants I have seen in the area (a much more common food concept on the east coast), the staff is friendly and the hours are great. It's pretty cool that Berkeley now has an Asian-Latin fusion burrito spot so close to campus. And, again, was so thankful this place was one of the few places open on Thanksgiving.
