Best of the East Bay. I love Thai food and am disappointed by the quality at most places. Lilly Thai got it right. The highest of quality and deep developed flavors. I am happy.

Did not feel like cooking or leaving the house at all today, and saw this amazing pricing with no delivery fee! I hopped on the Pad Thai, Calamari and fried veggie rolls! Delicious and was delivered really fast! Not only was it delicious, fast but the delivery dude was really great. Thank you so much will order again in the future.

I don't like to get on here and be a negative Nancy, but Mannnnnnn, this was some of the worst Thai food I've ever had. Sorry! Anybody on here saying their food was good probably thinks salt taste spicy, and that Panda Express is authentic Asian cuisine. Cut the BS.... The tum yum soup tasted like a bowl of hot lemon water, I could of had my one year old niece make that at home for me for free, and the mango sticky rice, omg!!! It tasted like I was eating wet mushed up newspaper, which I also could of made at home for free in my pj's. Not a dash of sweetness to it, and definitely not cooked with love. I've been disappointed with the ethnic food choices in the Bay Area lately, just seems like the food gets more and more expensive only for it to become more and more watered down and tasteless......Bring back real flavor!!!!!

I really enjoyed my time here. It's never too crowded and you can always find an open table. The waitress like the pad thai but I'm more of a pad see ew person - with chicken or beef.

We tried this place a couple times YEARS ago...think it was even a different name? Came away both times underwhelmed. Saw it was under new management or new name not too long ago so thought we'd give it another try. This time, MUCH better and would definitely order from here again. Also liked that they were one of the only places that didn't charge a delivery fee. Only reason I docked a star is that it asked for spice levels in a couple dishes we ordered. We put "mild" on both, particularly so our young kids could eat them too, only to find the dishes far too spicy for them. I should've recalled (notably from our honeymoon) that the Thai notion of mild vs spicy is vastly different from an American palate (i.e. even "mild" can have a fair amount of heat). That said, kiddos just ate noodle dish and rice, not the curry or veggie dish were also ordered. Keeping good thoughts this place status consistent...can easily become a neighborhood staple for us, especially given it's walking distance from us!

I really wanted to like this place cause it's close to my house. pros: it has a (fake) fireplace, which add cheers to the small room --accommodating staff cons: the food was not great, WAY too sweet! (why put so much sugar in savory food?) --I asked for the curry to 'not be spicy, hot' and yet it was. they offered to re-make it for me (and did) (the waiter seemed to have trouble understanding English...so maybe she didn't get it?) --the veggies in the curry where not great All in all I spent $18+ for a meal I didn't like. Sigh. Luckily there are a lot of Thai places around. Maybe they will see the reviews and change?

We tried Thai Lily last night. The food and the service was excellent. We had pad seeuw and a delicious beef dish, along with soup. All were great! The decor could use an upgrade but all was comfortable. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Tried this for the first time, both our dishes were unbelievably hot (spicy) and also salty. Could not even taste the food. This is funny coming from me because I LOVE hot food and usually dump cayenne or chili pepper on my food, so even for me it was too hot, I thought I should warn others.

hours listed as 11:00-20:00, but nobody answers the phone at 13:45 on a Wednesday?

We love Lily Thai! Not only is it a 2 minute walk from our house, but it's the best Thai in Berkeley. We especially like Spicy Shitake Noodles & Pad Ke Mao

Ordered from seamless. Food arrived quickly but it was not good. See attached picture for "green" curry. Had a weird taste...
