Amazing tasting experience. David is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the wines are incredible
Great wines! We loved it and everyone purchased a bottle. Pro tip, buy a bottle.
We wandered into Lusu on a walk over to REI, and were happily surprised with our visit. The tasting consisted of 5 wines made on site, mostly from grapes in the El Dorado area, and was $10. The hostess was knowledgeable and engaging (the owner apparently out of town this weekend), and the wines were of a decent variety, and obviously carefully selected.I appreciated that at least a few of them were dry-farmed, and had some really enjoyable complexity and depth. We walked away with several bottles. The winery apparently shares the space with a second winery, who we didn't have a chance to taste — we are planning on going back though.
One of my favorite places to taste wine in the urban beverage section of Berkeley. David, the owner and winemaker, is always providing a great selection and taking the time to chat with you and make sure you are enjoying yourself. Definitely a place to visit.
Great wine. Excellent pouring. $10 tasting.
Fun local small winemaker
David, the proprietor, is a very knowledgeable vintner. Very passionate about his craft, and very knowledgeable about wines. Lusu Cellars is an awesome, low-key, friendly tasting room to visit. Will definitely return and try more wines!

The owner is really friendly, knowledgeable, and the wines he produces (and sometimes co-presents from another winery) are really great.
