This is thr absolute best latte I’ve had in San Francisco / Bay Area. I live here, so that’s saying a lot. What a crafted little vibe it is inside. Coffee is super.

Their coffee is really good, and the coffee beans are from Yunnan. No matter which coffee you order, you can taste their care. They also constantly mix seasonal coffees and roast the coffee beans themselves. I recommend this coffee shop not only because I am from Yunnan, but also because it is really hard to drink such carefully made coffee here. Most coffees are produced on assembly lines, which is a waste of time.

The Shiro latte with brown sugar & white miso is so good. 🔥 I had to restrain myself from drinking it all at once. I'm looking forward to trying the other specialty coffee drinks!

The matcha is next level good. It’s not the right cafe to work from (no WiFi) but the drinks, service, and atmosphere are delightful for a screen-free cafe day or grabbing something to go.
Great coffee and good people
I came on a beautiful weekend afternoon. They had a DJ in the garden. The crowd was young and seemed to be in a post caffeination party mood. I mostly came because I wanted to try a masterpiece coffee! They served me an americano and called it a coffee…? It looked kind of like a few college kids bought a La Morzocco and a cart, so I dont think they have the gear to make coffee. The americano was ok, but over-extracted. The one at Strada is much better. Still if you’re looking for good vibes, but not expecting coffee, or a masterpiece, it’s worth stopping by 👍
Yum!! The espresso is clearly high quality, the milk was steamed to perfection, and poured by someone who knows what they’re doing. Super stoked to have a great coffee spot in the neighborhood.
favorite cafe in berkeley, and I’ve been to most in Berkeley
