What a gem! Delicious coffee (with some single origin beans from China!) and friendly service. It has a lovely side garden that is really peaceful and would make for a nice sunny spot to hang out and read. There’s a shop next door that wasn’t open yet but I will be back to check that out too.

The best in the Bay! Kuro is my go to drink, but everything on the menu is delicious.
Kid-friendliness: The kiddos can play in the garden or in the shop play nook!

Masterpiece has good coffee and tea options, unique flavor combinations, and aesthetic space.
The main entrance is tucked in the alley and has limited indoor and outdoor seating.

The entrance is to the side of the building. It has nice outside seating but I don’t think it’s been used these past rainy days. The inside is nice too! There’s a large table you can sit at but that’s about it. I got an unsweetened matcha latte with almond milk. I think this place prioritizes quality. I say that because not only do they carry Blue Willow Tea, but also Bake Sum pastries! Those two are literally some of my favorite local teas and bakery. They also carry Kinto tumblers and I feel like all good cafes carry that lol.

What a gem! Excellent espresso, perfect texture for the (oat) milk, and the additional flavors — Tcho chocolate for the mocha, or black sugar — are a gentle extra layer that still lets you taste the underlying coffee. The pocket seating garden outside and the sometimes-open working letterpress studio next door are also delights.

Great service, awesome oat milk based speciality coffee drinks from Yeun and his team.
His pop up coffee is tucked right off of San Pablo near Virginia with an adorable outdoor patio.
Be sure to grab your morning, mid day or afternoon beverage and pastry

Cute little coffee shop with incredible drinks, miso latte, perfect matcha, and even a small vintage store inside. Super cozy atmosphere while not feeling cramped. Perfect for a slow morning or a quick cup on the go. Best coffee I’ve had in the east bay.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pastries and oat milk only drinks
Dietary restrictions: Oat milk only, a perfect compliment to these drinks.

A new hidden gem, kiosk-style cafe. The patio is so lovely on a sunny morning, the drinks are expertly curated and the vibe is on point. For someone who appreciates refinement, this is a must visit.
