Best indian food around campus, very kind staff, fast and clean.
Lunch menu is a great value.

Probably the worst Indian food I've tried. The curry feels like heavily diluted by water. There's barely any proteins. I don't taste any spicy even though I'm ordering medium. Not recommended.

A cute restaurant that serves flavors akin to North Indian food for their lunch specials. They pile up your plate, but I can be hungry sometimes after. Their chai is some of the best I can get in Berkeley and is decently priced. Their chicken is well seasoned, and their veggie options are delicious. Their rice is well cooked. The little booths are cute, but the seating area can be a little stuffy.

Momos and samosas were really good! The staff were kind and gave us more rice to go with our lamb saag.

I was just there for dinner, but I’ve been there a few other times for dinner/lunch as well. Genuinely this place is so good! Everyone there is really kind and friendly!
Only thing I have to say is that the chow mein is definitely pretty low in quantity and price is on the higher end, but overall this place is CRIMINALLY underrated!

Both dishes I tried were much too salty. I won’t be going back

Had a bad experience here. They charged $50 and all the food felt like was from trader joes—naans, momos, etc. Could tell it was frozen and heated, not recommended for an authentic indian taste.
Rice was also hard to eat, not fresh.
Decor was messy and not maintained. They are charging $25 per person to heat up trader joes style food…avoid at all costs until they change.

The food was mouth watering good. The staff was very friendly. We were served very promptly and it was very affordable. The place was very quiet which made it easy to meditate over the flavors. On my list of places to return to.

Everything you see in the picture, which is the Lunch box special, is for around $13 (before tips). There’s veg option as well. Overall solid food for the price!

The “Lunch Box” option was amazing! Super delicious food, such good value for money, and ready instantly. Definitely going to be my go to for quick lunch breaks. If you don’t eat a lot like I do, it’s 10.99 for lunch today and left overs tomorrow!

One of the few quiet places here to take a load off.
Free tea is amazing (even better than the paid stuff next door) and the employee who helped me was gratious, helpful, and kind.
Highly recommended
