Been meaning to try this neighborhood spot nd while I still enjoyed it, I won't go out of my way to have it again. Got the orange cardamom knot, pistchio snail, and focaccia. Both the cardamom knot and pistachio snail lacked flavors from the orange cardamom and pistachio respectively. They were both pretty doughy with little flavor, so perhaps more suited to those who just love a good puff pastry. They're also coated in a sugary syrup which makes them tough to bite through....
I drive 35 minutes each time to visit this place. If you go there, get as many items as you can.. be a use when you get home, you’re going to want more.!! Their pizza is great, friendly staff, great Flavors. Worth the drive.
Favorite place for a pizza slice and baked goods in the east bay.
There is a $10 card minimum - thank you to the kind staff who offered me a slice after I came back a second time bc I didn’t think to go over the minimum the first time and had to run. It was a tough day, but that was really a bright spot.
