Very average and expensive pizza (dk why its marked as $). Got a 14inch customized pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, olives, 2 garlic dipping sauces which costs, including a $5 delivery fee and tax, $36... I can get 3 Costco pizzas which are much better and 2+ dominos with that amount. Literally offers nothing more than an average pizza for an absurd price.

Disappointed. Undercooked and underwhelming. Still surprises me how chains like these can't get their product to be consistent (even if consistently average), guess have to wait on robots.

The pizza is great and I can't complain. However, I am really unhappy with the salad they offer. I ordered on Snackpass and cannot see a picture of the "Papa's Chicken Cesar Salad". When I arrived the staff told me the salad is on the way. It turned out that the store simply ordered a salad from some convenient store which normally costs less than $2 but is instead sold for $6 at the store. Hence, I would say get the pizza but not the salad.

I’ve see a guy come into the restaurant from the street into the kitchen and he started taking a pizza out of the oven without gloves and he did NOT WASHED his hands before touching the pizza.

Great pizza and wings. The serving is great, it can last 3-4 meals per large pizza+two boxes of wings. You can also search for promo code online, and there is often 20-25% off deal, which makes it more enjoyable.

The workers here are always nice and cool and helpful, I've just been a pretty disappointed with the quality of the pizzas lately. I always order my pizza well done and still often find my pizza soggy and undercooked, even when I only get one or two toppings and get it carry out. Tonight I was also missing a marinara sauce I ordered and got a Hawaiian pizza that was missing the pineapple. I'm gunna keep coming back because I like the guys here and it's super close to my house but I just wish the quality control was a little better because I run into missing stuff or ignored instructions a lot.

From the Bahamas. Marco's Pizza was my main staple as a bachelor. I have been searching years for a suitable replacement that provides thin, crispy crust with excellent ingredients. Now we have a winner. My wife loves the crust as well.

In the days of Rona and her Co-bionich-vid I came upon this lonesome establishment past the posted closing time, but the lights are on and door open still so I may as well yell through the doorway and ask if they have any cheese pizza slices for sale. I get a resounding NO, we're closed, but hold on, and viola! This guy comes out with a pizza box and tells me that they don't have any slices, but he'll give me the whole pizza, minus 1 slice for 7 bucks. Im not sure what they go for normally, not sure if its edible or tasty or any of the normal, non pandemic concerns one may have, but being Sunday night, in semi abandoned zomberkley land a 7 buck pizza is possibly an awesome come by. Thanks Papa John! Woot!

Grab a spoon to eat this soggy, under-cooked pizza. It was delivered promptly, but even so the outside bottom of the box was already oily. The slices were so soggy that they couldn't hold their shape. The cheese and veggies were mush. Please check your pizza as soon as delivered. This was bad at first sight. Best served in the green compost bind. The Dr. Pepper was fine.

Reliable middle of the road pizza. Nothing fancy. My kids like the garlic knots.

Average pizza place...it will satisfy your sudden/random pizza cravings and is cheaper, comparatively, to some of the other higher-end pizza places. I've ordered the Meats, the Works, and the Pepperoni/sausage/6 cheese blend...they're all OK...although the portions of the meat toppings are on the lesser side. All are $16.99 (through Doordash) for the "small original" (6 small pieces) that comes with one garlic sauce on the side. It can feed 1-2 semi-hungry people. If you come to pick up the food, just be a bit careful because there are often people with different personalities that lounge around that area. There's parking (right outside the store). Don't have super high expectations and you'll be okay. The food, again, is OK.

Da Scene: Friday is pizza night, and we normally do a local spot, but I LIKE Papa John's and have tried them three time via Door Dash of late. Sad to say, I'm DONE with this location.Da Grub: below average and inconsistent compared to the Walnut Creek and San Leandro locations. 1st time the signature meatball pep was very lacking in toppings, barely a piece of pep on each slice and exactly 5 little pieces of meatball. 2nd time was a Door Dash issue, pizza arrived damaged, cheese and topping off to one side like it was carried sideways. Tonight, I thought I would DEFINITELY get what we wanted... I ordered the Ultimate Pepperoni, add meatballs and Roasted Garlic... got a be choke full of toppings, RIGHT? Wup, wup... NOT! Got the meatball, but barely any Pep this time and NO roasted garlic cryin' shame for a $32 pizza!! I give up, 3 strikes, you're OUT.Da Service: Door Dash has been great actually, when I did have an issue, they gave me a decent credit back. It's this location's quality control... I'd hate to think shorting customers on toppings is intentional, the franchise can't afford that reputation damage from a central location like Berkeley. I'll be picking up my own pies from Walnut Creek or San Leandro when in need of the next meatball/pep!
