This last location of the Brazil Cafe trio is a great place to hang. The only problem is the menu. If there going to keep the other locations closed, they need to bring those menu items over so we can enjoy the full experience again. This locations menu is missing a lot of items from the others.
i love the tri-tip here. so delicious! in a rice bowl or on the loaded fries. (they're spicy even without jalapeños so next time i might ask for less spicy.) great variable beer selection, lots of local beers and cider & kombucha options too. on chilly evenings they have mulled wine!the outdoor seating is really nice, plenty of shady and sunny options and there's also bike parking which is super convenient. there is often a long wait for food when they're busy, so don't come ravenous.the staff seem happy and friendly, and i hope that means they're paid well and not overworked or understaffed. there doesn't seem to be a lot of turnover, which seems like a good sign. i will update my review if i find out one way or another.the only thing i routinely don't like here is the music, but you can't win em all. i will suffer through music i dislike to eat food and drink beer here.
It’s delicious to be here. It seems a little bit of Brazilian territory. The variety of beer is good and the options of Brazilian food is nice . My favorite is the flying pig (chicken wrapped with bacon) and the cozinha.
Such an amazing place with amazing food and drinks. Can chill with friends, fam or alone here
Still the best tri-tip sandwich. A little spice, a little sweet, and loaded with tri-tip. Far from its original location near the Berkeley campus, it still brings back the undergrad memories.
They had a tasty porter on tap, and the chicken sandwich was great. I barely got seated before my food got to me. It's all outdoors, so I was lucky to catch it on a summer day.
Very cool place to grab a drink and food and sit down enjoying a day with a nice weather. The food was really good. The atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing.
Excellent place to eat and/or drink outdoors. You can bring your furry friends as well. The soup of the day was fantastic (chicken tortilla) and the Grapefruit Shandy was super refreshing. Will definitely be back to enjoy the atmosphere and the deliciousness of food/drink.
Great food, outdoor seating, patio heaters, good drinks, dogs allowed - what’s not to love?
This restaurant has awesome service and yummy meals. One of my favourite restaurants around town. The meals arrived quick and the prices are reasonable. Recommended.

I like this place. The food is good - I usually get the tritip sandwich. And while the decor is simple, it works - you have a little bit of a party atmosphere. It's a good place.
Awesome food and awesome biergartenChill environment - bring your dogs, kids, friends, and appetite. Awesome selection of beers in the biergarten and interesting selection from Pedros. Prices are around midtier compared to restaurants around. Try the brazilian influenced candies, drinks, and salads
Nice atmosphere, good place to come with friends. However, don't come expecting Brazilian Food. It's not authentic. It has a lot of influence from other latin american cuisines and has certainly been americanized (ex: jalapenos in sandwiches, the pastel is not what you'd find in Brazil, and you'd certainly never find avocados in a salad in Brazil as we only eat avocados in sweet dishes).
Food quality Has gone way down since the other two spots have closed. The food especially the tri-tip just isn’t as fresh and just doesn’t seem to be like it was at the little shop at the top of University that closed. That being said, the beer garden aspect of the place is really really nice. Large area, nice ambience, comfortable and dog friendly (Some people see this is a downside, but there’s not that many places dog owners can eat with their animals, especially during covid). Decent selection and relatively Interesting Beers that are swapped out pretty often it.
Exceptional food, very welcoming employees, regularly fantastic atmosphere. They charge reasonable pricing and the food quality is good. Fantastic work.
