Slow. 25 min for a boba when there’s no one here ?
delicious boba and snacks. decent downtown berkeley area too.
“How about we open a noodle place that only serves cup noodles!” — this is probably how this place got started, and it’s pretty awesome.
The F1 is amazing and always brings a smile to my face.
Overall experience is reminiscent of walking into a McDonald’s play place. Kids screaming. Teeming with high schoolers; flirting, loitering, spending what’s left of their lunch money. The bubble tea lacks in clarity and chokes down like syrup. Indicative of the energy charged atmosphere, the menu is missing a decaf tea, offering up a smattering of artificial flavors. The novelty cup size challenges your grasp, just when you thought you’d mastered holding things.
Loved Purple Kow and was super excited to find one close to campusFood/Taste/Flavor: 1/5 - D3: purple Kow Iced Milk Drinks with caramel, pudding, and boba at 25% sweetness and less ice. The boba texture was awful. It is way overcooked and falling apart but so sticky. The caramel didn't seem like it was cooked long enough or they used a cheap quality one as it doesn't have the typical buttery/creamy undertone that other shops have.Ambience: 3/5 - small shop but there is an upstairs for seating. A really artificial sweet smell in the airService: 3/5 - slight language barrier and the cashier didn't seem very knowledgeable about their productsValue for price: 1/5 - They charge an extra dollar for no ice! They didn't say anything and I only caught it since it was more expensive than expected. The drink was disappointing
Poor service and communication skills. Never again
I like purple kow and they are the perfect distance from UCB. It’s nice to go there and chill out. They have tasty boba and lots of options. And there’s good bagels a couple shops down. Also, a couple blocks down some great sushiritos
Very rude kids at the front when you hire kids you must train them
Great boba place, there cups are massive for some reason and the flavors and boba are average, but overall its a great place for boba. Its kinda like the mc donalds for boba because of how comerical it is and how the food is less original and good than other places, but you find yourself constantly returning. If you want a quik boba and some food this never disapoints.

The popcorn chicken was spot on delicuous and great size. No sauce needed. My reason of a low score is because I got 4 drinks here E1, F2, F5, and Purple cow milk tea with pudding. All of them were not bad (but also stating not good). One had so many toppings in it that I reall felt like that is what it was for. Other than having giant drink cups. What is the point of having a big drink if it does not taste good.
Being a fan of Bubble Tea, I`m always on the lookout for the most authentic Boba tea experience. My friend was raving about this place and I had to check it out. Firstly, the options are endless and you can choose as many toppings as you like. I had the organic black tea with glass jelly and lychee. I was taken aback by the huge portion. So, please ask before ordering. The taste was amazing and was perfect as my post-dinner dessert. Will definitely be back to try out other drinks.
Love the chicken too
Let paying customers use the restroom. If I'm paying $40 for chicken and boba I should be able to use the restroom
I'm not satisfied with my order , it's like I'm drinking water with milk there cream cheese or foam is not delicious for I'm expecting. ???
