Quince used to be our favorite breakfast spot, but it closed for repairs and doesn't seem to be reopening anytime soon.

Had a weird experience here but good luck finding a time when they are both open and not super busy!

I love this place, can walk there from home! But they're closed for now -- this is from their FB page in February: "Quince Cafe will be closed for a few months. About a week ago, a driver drove through the side of our building, which has residential units upstairs. Luckily, no one was injured but we do have to close down for construction."

We love Quince! What happened? Went by this morning. No sign in window indicating reason for closure. Someone had disrespectful graffiti on door re *trump* and *racism*. Very puzzled. Hope all is ok.

I absolutely love Quince. The owner, Shireen, is so warm and welcoming and their food is outstanding. I usually go for the Jordanian omelet or the eggs benedict. This has become one of my favorite weekend brunch places. Very underrated in my opinion.

Are they closed? We went by on a Thursday at noon and peered in the front door. The lights were out, no one was there, and utensils and containers and dishes were stacked willy nilly on the tables, leading us to wonder if the place is closed permanently. There was no sign on the door indicating why the place was closed and in disarray, which is really something they should do if going out of business or remodeling. The only excuse for not putting a sign on the door would be if the zombie apocalypse hit and everyone who worked there had been devoured. I would have heard about it on the news.

This is my fav brunch spot! And I can't wait until they re-open. Even in Berkeley, it's difficult to find a breakfast spot with gluten-free pancakes, and the ones here are delicious. Also, their scrambled eggs are always perfect - not too runny, not too hard. Friendly staff, and Shirin (owner) always has a smile on her face.

It was exactly what I hoped for. I had the chorizo scramble with black beans and sourdough toast. Also had a blueberry muffin. Perfect.

Rustic country vibe. The food took awhile but was definitely worth the wait
