I ordered a chicken pad kea mao (drunken noodles) and it was really good although… they gave me pork instead of chicken. And I didn’t know about that until they came over to the table with the plate that had chicken. Thankfully I am able to eat pork but… be careful if you are not— ask twice to make sure you get the right dish. Otherwise, they were very accommodating to our very large group.

It looks like a really small spot from the outside, but it's actually huge inside! The ceilings are high, and it's very bright and beautifully decorated. The prices are pretty reasonable for how large the portions are (I went with a friend, together we ate about half of the 2 dishes we got). All of the food we got was vegan, but I feel like the options we chose to make the food vegan made it better! We got tofu pad kee mao and khao soi with fat rice noodles. The fat rice noodles are really delicious here, and I would recommend getting at least one dish that has them in it. The tofu in the khao soi was put in straight, which I don't really enjoy if it's not silken, but in the pad kee mao, the pieces of tofu were really cute and tiny, and had a lot of color on them.Vegetarian options: You just add a protein on to most of the dishes, so most of the menu has the capacity to accommodate vegetarians. There isn't really any dairy in any of the food, so egg is really the only hazard for vegetarians/vegans.

The food here is so good that no matter what I get, I am always also envious of what everyone else is eating. I just want to eat it all.

Racha is a Berkeley staple! Their portion sizes are very generous and all the food is really good. All of the noodle dishes are a hit. The most recent time I came, it looks like they are pretty accommodating to large groups as there were 2 groups of about 20 people that came in.

Very unassuming on the outside but this place is actually legit. We got the duck soup which was good but not great and an eggplant stir fry which was maybe the best version of the dish I've had. Will come back to try more. Service was friendly and welcoming.

Came to Racha Cafe with some friends on a Friday Night and I loved the food and would come again and recommend it to anyone craving well priced Thai food.I got the Pad Se Ew with Beef and it was delicious and came out hot and fresh. The service was quick too! I hope to try the other items on the menu but a great restaurant to try in Berkeley!

Ordered the beef boat noodle soup which is kinda hard to find in the east bay. It hit the spot! A sweet, dark, and rich broth that I could add spices to! I got the thin rice noodles. The meat balls were good. One thing this boat noodle didn't include was liver. The beef was kinda like a stewed beef and I didn't like that. I also would order it with less bean sprouts or on the side because it dominated the flavor. All in all, I'd return for boat noodles! Inside the restaurant was clean and updated. The staff were really accommodating and friendly.

This is hands down my favorite thai place in berkeley and that's saying a lot because there is a new thai place every other block. My all time favorite dish is their yellow curry! When I first got to college I've never had yellow curry before and now it has become my staple order. It is so so good and the portions are not bad either. I usually get take out but the one time I did eat in person, the service was pretty fast and the waitresses were very nice. So the atmosphere is pretty standard, but they also have another room in the back for if you want to host events and such which is pretty nice. So many clubs cater from this place it has become a staple for me.
