Good coffee but communication with staff was difficult, completely unable to understand my questions conceptually.

This place has definitely lost it's touch over the years. Years ago, the matcha was good and also reasonably priced. A dollar per vanilla pump is criminal. The matcha isn't sweet anymore and I have to pay a few more extra dollars to make it how it once was? Ridiculous.
A very pleasant coffee place tucked inside an alleyway near Telegraph. They offer a good dark roast coffee, very good smoothies and other drinks. The staff is very polite and the place spacious and pleasant, good place also to sit and work. Well worth checking out.

This place is honestly the BEST coffee for the best price here at Berkeley. They actually serve a LARGE size & the coffee actually taste AMAZING & isn’t watered down.

A popular café among Berkeley students so it does get pretty busy on certain days at certain hours.
I usually get their iced vanilla latte which is pretty good but got their iced matcha latte and it was pretty disappointing. It didn’t taste like anything like matcha and was basically milk with sweetener with its pale green color :(
Their red velvet is a pretty solid option although it’s really sweet if that’s something that you like!
