Stumbled in here just to get a slice for lunch, and left with two of the best NY style-slices in Berkeley. So much attention to detail and flavor in the dough and sauce PLUS they freshly grate Parmesan on your slice after reheating it. Way more than I was expecting and reasonably priced! I liked both the mushroom-leek slice and pepperoni-onion!

I don't know where to start, I really like this place. The pizza dough/crust is crisp and airy and easy to digest and delicious and perfect. I like to get the house salad there. It's a delicious vinaigrette and the bolognese is excellent too. Really good cooking. Really good little spot, I highly recommend it.

Every time I dine at State Flour I know I’ll have the most perfect salad with vinaigrette and chicories, my favorite pizza, a choice of lovey beverages, and the best service from friendly staff who make me feel like a guest of honor. This place should be on every best of list. The menu includes classics and creative twists, celebrates outstanding ingredients, and has something for everyone. The vegan and gluten free options are among the best I’ve had anywhere, and offered with the same care and quality as the rest. So so good. I’ve been getting carry out or delivery for a while and finally ate in the restaurant and the pizza was even better. Really enjoyed the salad and pasta with meat sauce too. Super friendly service. Only request is to close the front door when it’s cold because I would have loved to sit downstairs and enjoy the atmosphere but we had to sit upstairs because the door was kept open :)

Amazing salads and pizza. I love that they have an option for the controversial pineapple enjoyers like myself, and they certainly did not disappoint. I love a crispy crust with a little bit of chew, and toasty blisters throughout, and they absolutely nailed it. Not too doughy and not too crunchy, just perfect. Really excellent pizza worth every penny.
I’m a sucker for some good pizza and let me tell you this was some pretty fire pizza. Honestly, would recommend. And thankfully was well within a reasonable budget.

Why did I wait so long to discover State Flour pizza? It's amazing 🤩🤩🤩. The crust is thin and perfect, the toppings are well balanced. There's not too much dough or gooey cheese. It's great the next day too. It's now my favorite go-to pizza establishment.

Absolutely delicious! Quality all around. The dough/crust was divine and the toppings perfectly balanced. The sauce had a bit too much sugar added and could use a little work, but otherwise no complaints. I got a Darcy pie and gradually ate the entire pizza throughout the afternoon because it was so good.
