Great food, great service, and overall a great time with my party of 8. Will def be coming back for sure
It was nice but the foods not that flavorful and the service was not that great but it's a nice place to study and get a snack
First time here, lured by the rooftop views, which are spectacular indeed. Our food was tasty (especially recommend their Brussels sprouts and Mahi tacos), and my Pinot Noir was superb. Unfortunately, on this night at least the place was poorly managed. Our waitress, friendly and solicitous, had too many tables - some outside and others, including ours, on the other side of the restaurant. So she literally disappeared from our view for long stretches of time, included when we wanted to order more wine and then get our check. The atmosphere started out nice and lively, but as the evening went on, someone cranked up the volume of the obnoxious music, and it became impossible to hold a conversation. We won't be back.
It was wonderful, amazing date spot. Music was a bit loud and sometimes a bit not our style but over pretty good. Service was great, very kind staff.
Although the food is standard bar fare, the drinks and the view are exceptional and worth a visit for a panoramic view of Berkeley and the bay.
Lovely staff and great food and drinks. The views are amazing and love the casual easy going vibe.
I been wanting to try the StudyHall for awhile now. Indoor seating / bar area was loud but not in a uncomfortable way. They had a live DJ which was nice. The outside area was quiet. Sound proof doors blocked out the live music. I sat outside. The view was amazing only thing that probably would have been better is more view of the bay area bridges & if I would have made the sunset. The food and drinks were great. My only problem was the heat lamps. As much as I appreciate the lamps the heating areas were smaller than I anticipated. The heat lamps great for your table until a strong gust come or you happen to lean to far back. More heat lamp through out the patio area would be ideal
We had a 6p reservation for indoor dining and upon arrival we were told that was not available. They then put at a side table outside and as it was getting cool, I asked for a heat lamp and the hostess said, No there are none available and walked away. Food menu is limited and 33 dollars for a burger and fries is over the top. I should have done more homework to see that this is actually a bar vs. A restaurant but Open Table had it show up for dinner reservation. Ok place for a cocktail and nibble with Berkeley skyline view.
We came for the Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner and it was indeed wonderful food, well presented (although a little pricier than we're used to paying). The problem was the interior table they showed us to was centered between the music speakers and a party (emphasis on the word party) of eight quite near. We ended asking to be moved outdoors, but there aren't a sufficient number of heaters to take care of everyone out there, so we were a little colder than we're used to being while dining. Service was top notch.
Yuki!!!!

Warm summer nights call for sipping cold cocktails at the top of Berkeley's highest rooftop lounge! Enjoy delicious bites, live music on fridays/saturdays, and pretty sunsets.
There is both indoor/outdoor seating, but the outdoor patio is dog-friendly!

This place is a hidden gem of Berkeley. Once we walked off the elevator we were greeted by the manager LeeMar who showed us the amazing rooftop outdoor section. We were seated in Yuki's area where we were able to enjoy the views of the entire Bay Area. The food was amazing all of our expectations were met and beyond. I was cold and LeeMar retrieved a blanket for me. Yuki made sure our food came out hot, crispy, and juicy. The drinks were top-tier. This will be a spot to bring out-of-town guests when I show off my town. Study Hall does Berkeley Proud.
