Warm summer nights call for sipping cold cocktails at the top of Berkeley's highest rooftop lounge! Enjoy delicious bites, live music on fridays/saturdays, and pretty sunsets.
There is both indoor/outdoor seating, but the outdoor patio is dog-friendly!

This place is a hidden gem of Berkeley. Once we walked off the elevator we were greeted by the manager LeeMar who showed us the amazing rooftop outdoor section. We were seated in Yuki's area where we were able to enjoy the views of the entire Bay Area. The food was amazing all of our expectations were met and beyond. I was cold and LeeMar retrieved a blanket for me. Yuki made sure our food came out hot, crispy, and juicy. The drinks were top-tier. This will be a spot to bring out-of-town guests when I show off my town. Study Hall does Berkeley Proud.

Wait very long time for our food
Food poorly made it, no flavor at all.
We ate basically because we were hungry, than left with dirty plate in front of us for ever and the place wasn’t even full! I’m sorry but I will never come back

I enjoyed my visit. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly. However, we had to wait about 20 minutes before our order was taken. Overall, a good experience!
Really nice setup, 12th floor of the Residence Inn hotel. Indoor and outdoor space. Bar and Bites. Mixed drinks were tasty. Food was so-so. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t special or particularly great or memorable. They could definitely do more with the space. I could see it as a great event venue, glass panes outside and views of Berkeley. Has a mixed crowd of college students and ‘older’ folks.
Parking: Parking can be tough, we happened to go on a game night, so that was even more tough. There is some street parking around, you just may have to walk a few blocks. There is a big Center St garage just on the other side of Shattuck.
Wheelchair accessibility: Totally accessible. Up to 12th floor. Indoor and outdoor space, restrooms, all accessible.

Strike 1: When I arrived at the restaurant at 4:57 pm for my 5 pm reservation, the host asked me "do y'all wanna be seated now?" which was SUPER unprofessional in my opinion. not just how he asked but yes. I do want to sit at the time of my reservation. Strike 2: I waited 10 minutes at the table without being greeted or offered water by my waitress. She took our drink order and then we didn't see her again for another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, I'm watching the table who was sat AFTER us get their drinks & food before I ever got my first beverage. Strike 2.5: I had to flag down ANOTHER waitress to complain about being there 30 minutes without a drink. She said "Sunday's are just a bad day to come." like I didn't realize the service i get is dependent on the day i come? She then proceeded to get my order wrong. I ordered the garlic parmesan truffle fries, and i got regular. AND ITS SUPER HARD TO FIND MY WAITRESS OR ANY OTHER SERVICE STAFF FOR THAT MATTER. Strike 3: The food was absolutely garbage. The spinach artichoke dip was underseasoned, the wings were skimpy, and it took us ANOTHER 30 minutes to get a 2nd round of drinks. Won't be returning. So many better rooftops in the area. This place is definitely for people who haven't worked in the service industry and don't know the difference between good and bad service. Maybe if I don't come on a Sunday it'll be better? but that just shows a lack of standards across the board.
