Options when making reservation are for Standard or High top seating, outdoor optional. I most DEFINITELY said we needed STANDARD seating and did NOT want OUTDOORS. Arrived (on time) to be told only high chairs or outdoor was available, and we were treated like liars, rudely told we were bumped by group. Will NEVER dine there again, despite frequently visiting adjacent PFA. You had my contact info, could have warned us.

This was an embarrassment for Marriott. The service was slow, we were seated in a rooftop vent farm when there were open tables in better areas. To add insult to injury, when I asked for additional tartar sauce for my fish and chips because the amount provided was minuscule, without telling me we were charged for the additional tiny amount provided. Finally there were no less than FIVE additional “taxes” tagged onto the check boosting the already hefty $68 tab an additional $10. DO NOT BOOK this restaurant.

we were here for a casual get together amongst long time friends and were seated outside on couches around their lone gas fire pit. the food (typical bar fare) was good, drinks tasty, and our server was great. the amazing view of the bay area on a clear evening is the biggest draw.
If you’re in the market for amazing 360 degree views of Berkeley and the East Bay then this is the place! Great atmosphere for sips and nibbles. Despite trying going many times, I’ve only tried a couple of appetizers and wouldn’t go for the food. I’m not a beer guy, but do enjoy a cocktail. The cocktails here are a solid rating of “good”. Not the best in the East Bay, but the views certainly make up for it.

Yuki, our favorite server, is always cheerful and thoughtful. One time we arrived late, and there were very limited choice of food for us to eat, but she was able to find some food items for us to fill our hunger, and made our stay very comfortable. Thank you Yuki!

The food was very mediocre. The “chicharrón” wasn’t actual chicharrón meat—it was just chips. The Brussels sprouts were burned.
But the worst part was the service. Our waiter was incredibly rude for reasons we still don’t understand. We were two Latina women, in case that context matters. He questioned our IDs like they were fake, never checked on us after the food was served, and we had to walk up to the front just to ask for the check because he just never came back.
It was a very uncomfortable experience and we won’t be returning. The waiter name was Karim M. If the name on the receipt is correct.

It was cute! This place is good for a casual date night with a view. It was on the louder side the night I went, so I definitely had to speak up when speaking to my date LOL! Service was good as well - Yuki was kind and energetic! Food was well portioned! We left with 2 to-go boxes. Overall, I would say 6/10 for the vibe. 👍🏼
