Atmosphere and views are good but the food was terrible for what it cost. The wings came without any dipping sauce and were way over done. French fries were way too salty and oily. Cocktails were alright but again not worth the price. There are way too many places around Berkeley better than this place. Could be good for event hosting but again avoid the food.

Food is ok, not a lot of choice and not super refined. The value is in the place and the views. Nice to be seating up there with nice views. There are simple tables with comfy chairs, and there are sitting corners with sofas, some with fire pits. Given the slowness, not sure why they didn't sit us at one of the more comfy couches with fire places... That being said, the highlight was our waitress who was very nice and attentive while not intrusive. Overall a nice experience.

Honestly all five stars earned at this place. A beautiful view of the Berkeley Hills, Berkley, Oakland, and even SF. The service is great, the garlics fries were WORTH IT and the atmosphere is relaxed and stylish and clean. There is an outdoor patio roof section with couches and high tops and and indoor section with tables and a bar and high top tables. If you’re in the area and need a cute spot with a view for a drink and snack — put this place on your list.

Just to start, it's so fun and freeing to be out on a rooftop with a fine view! And while it's a simple menu, the food is really well done with generous servings. I had a rich tomato bisque with grilled cheese sandwich (multiple wee crostini sandwiches); my friend had the Cobb salad with chicken. We both loved our dishes. The Chemistry Class spiked Mexican chocolate was an irresistible treat, and friend was delighted the Romantic cocktail has a non-alcoholic botanical “tequila” option. Our server was the quirky, funny, and very solicitous Yuki, a lovely personality with our evening. Looking forward to the next visit.

Short visit to an unexpectedly nice rooftop bar right in the heart of downtown Berkeley. The drinks were well-imagined and carefully prepared and delicious. It was a little cold to really enjoy the outdoor portion of the layout (music, firepits, nice furniture), but the views from inside at the window-side seats were still really nice.

Galentines Happy Hour with two beloved friends. We had cocktails/wine and a few shared plates. Our server was outstanding. She really took care and had great suggestions. Portions were good for three. It being a hotel bar, the prices were a bit high, but since the view is so stunning its worth the extra on the final tab.
