went here because nothing else was open. they only were serving 5 things out the menu and we paid 50 dollars for 3 people. the food looked questionable and did not look appetizing AT ALL. the taste was alright. it was a lot better after we added chili oil and soy sauce. kind of reminded us of cat food TBH. would not come here again this is just MY personal experience. the buns were good tho. we got the #5 pork and shrimp because they had nothing else prepared..

Good service very friendly
Worst ever. The rice was dry and crumbly, and the meat was tough and tasteless.
Really happy to see a HK-style place so popular among students! I love their iced milk tea, lemon tea, and char siu rice. There are some limitations from not having a full kitchen in Esh though.

Thought to try this place for its 4.9-star reviews. I don't see what justifies that. I went on Cal Day, when the streets were teeming with students and parents, yet this place had almost no business. When I went past Noodle Dynasty, on the other hand, there was a line out the door there. Seems the students knew something that I didn't yet.I got the Sichuan Spicy Chicken Rice. It was barely spicy. Be careful eating this stuff: they leave the bones in when they chop up the chicken, leaving a dangerous choking hazard for the unknowing. Better yet, go eat somewhere else. There were like six pieces of chicken and a pile of white rice, for $14. The chicken wasn't even hot; it was slightly cool, like, not the sort of temperature where you should be storing food. The dining area isn't dedicated to the restaurant, it's just a conventional college public area that a lot of students seem to use for study.

Very delicious authentic Asian cuisine. The pork and duck combo were magnificent. The owner/operator is super nice. Hong Kong ice milk tea is a great sipper on a hot day. I'm not sure about seating, but I took it to go, so it wasn't an issue. Very reasonable prices.
