Our neighborhood finally has a new gem of a restaurant! Everything about this spot is wonderful. The attention to detail in the decor (cozy fireplace, exposed brick, distressed woodwork, leaf-shaped cushions, gold silverware, plants galore) is transportive. The food is ravishingly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. On two different visits, we shared Market Salads, Chia Bowls, Yogurt Bowls, and Lava Eggs. Tanzie, the owner, is delightful, and you can tell she has a hand in every dish. My 8-year-old, who is a very picky eater, loved the yogurt bowl, eggs, and especially the Thai Beignets! Finally, a brunch I can look forward to, a few steps from my house...

Absolutely blown away by the quality and freshness of the food, the service, ambience and aesthetics of the dishes and interior. We tried the Sai Oua, Nam Prik Ong, Yogurt platter, Strawberry Matcha, Thai Tea and freshly squeezed OJ. Everything was incredibly delicious and seasoned to perfection; nothing was overpoweringly sweet, greasy or salty (which is usually our dine-out experience) but balanced and well-rounded in terms of flavors. Our 4 and 1 year olds were also fans, which is saying a lot. The staff and owner were also so helpful and lovely to chat to. We are so happy that this business opened up in our neighborhood and hope to be back very soon!

Went to Tanzie's for breakfast with a friend and it was delicious! We got coffee (it was brewed freshly for us), a chia bowl and a lava egg dish to share. Tanzie offered this delicious spicy spread that added an extra kick to the meal. Service was so kind and relaxed. We will definitely come back.

Delicious food and surprisingly substantial portions, in a great little cozy space. Coming in from the rain, being able to warm myself by the fire was an unexpected delight. Service was good and the food came out surprisingly quickly. As for the price, it wasn't cheap but certainly not above what one would expect for this area. I look forward to coming back.

This charming Thai brunch spot is currently in its soft opening phase. Honestly, the SAI OUA I tried was a little too salty (both the side sauce and sausage), but still enjoyable…The restaurant boasts a delightful ambiance and heartwarming decor, with attentive service. It’s an ideal spot for a sunny day brunch, and excitingly, they plan to add a study room in the future! Yay!I might reconsider my ratings during my next visit following their grand opening. Hopefully the dishes will be less salty next time.

Sai Oua had a lot of flavor with a bit of spice. The eggs were creamy and the nam prik hot sauce was the perfect balance to the entire meal. Tanzi was super nice and heartfelt in serving food from Chain Mai. Latte was also spot on. Highly recommend for a comforting brunch/breakfast. The space is super quaint and adorable.

Came here on their 9th day of opening for brunch, and we were so impressed! We ordered the lava eggs with pa tong go (Thai beignets) and they were delicious. The sausage in the sai oua lava eggs are house-made and were so good and spicy (sorry didn't get a photo of them though). It's a nice change of pace from typical American brunch places. The decor is green and cozy, the service was good, and the owner came to talk to us and was super friendly. We're excited to see this place succeed!

Love this place! It's a small, cozy restaurant with a fire place and very personal, attentive service. I wasn't familiar with the items on the menu but the server did a nice job of explaining everything. All of the dishes I had were amazing! The lava eggs formed a sumptuous dome wrapped around a serving of rice. The pork jowl (Thai bacon) and crisps of garlic served on the side added to the savory nature of the dish. The eggs and meat were cooked to perfection and made a beautifully arrangement. The Thai beignets were small and light morsels of sweetness, especially dipped in the sauce they came with. Despite these being fried dishes, nothing tasted oily or greasy. I also had a hot soy milk drink with chia that was wonderful on a chilly, rainy morning. The proprietor introduced herself and explained how these dishes come from her personal background, including family recipes. I feel fortunate she's willing to share these culinary treats with us. What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood and something unique to experience. So far, the place is only open for brunch and lunch. In a few months, they might be open for dinners.

Great service. Cozy table by the fireplace on an overcast cold day . Excellent Thai beignets with condensed milk to dip into . Great chicken sausage and egg over rice. Very delicious food.
