The service is very nice and the food is very tasty

We hired Thai Rice Spoon Catering to provide 2 meals during a 4-day family/friends gathering, and it has been a wonderful experience. In the time leading to the event, communication with Tumi has been prompt, and she has been very helpful in providing suggestions on the types of dishes and amounts to order, especially in the setting of some of the guests' dietary restrictions. Tumi has also been very understanding in suggesting different options on how to stay within budget.

Regarding the food delivery, it was delivered early and displayed beautifully with the chafing dishes and sterno fuel. We were then given instructions on how to serve them.

The food itself was delicious and a favorite of many of the guests. Overall, we would definitely hire Thai Rice Spoon Catering again in the future if the need arises. Highly recommend!

We had Thai Rice Spoon cater our wedding and it was perfect! Tumi was so responsive and easy to coordinate with. She was so flexible with all the changes as our RSVPs came in, and the food was incredibly delicious, which is hard to do in a buffet! We're so grateful! They also arrived on time, cleaned up, etc and were great vendors to work with on the day of. Highly recommend!

Super easy and wonderful experience, delicious food!! Tumi was quick to reply, very helpful and professional. They also as a bonus made cute little labels to let my team know if it had meat, vegetarian or vegan. Delivery driver was super helpful too, my company will definitely use again

Tumi was an absolute joy to work with. She was easy going, professional, and had a kick arse team of servers. If I could do it again, I'd still choose Tumi. They can start you off with hors d’oeuvres, we chose some skewers and a few other items. The main course was curry with meat and vegan options. Everything was super delicious and to top it all off she saved a plate for us when we arrived at the reception, so she made sure we ate on our wedding day. I bet not many people can say their caterer made sure they ate on their wedding day. Maybe not even 90%. The icing on the cake was the price. Hands down ultra-competitive pricing. So if you want delicious food, my guests were stopping me during the wedding to ask where we found her, and affordable pricing look no further. Take a suggestion from me to you, Tumi.

Thai Rice Spoon is a fantastic caterer! They catered my wedding a month ago and I can not say enough great things about them! Tumi was an absolute delight to work for. I contacted her 8 months before my wedding and she quickly provided a quote and more information about what they offer. Our taste testing was stress free and leading up to the wedding she was lovely. On the day of the wedding Tumi and her group went above and beyond for us. We had a full buffet and passed appetizers for happy hour. While I didn't get to have any of the appetizers everyone raved about them. We had also brought in full roasted pigs and they served it for us, no complaints and no worry for me! The food was incredible, everyone who worked the event were friendly helpful and nice, and I had not one second of worry. Tumi made sure my husband and I ate she made us plates and delivered it to our seats. Also, Thai Rice Spoon was by far the most affordable option with no compromise on quality or service. If you are looking for a great caterer I highly recommend Thai Rice Spoon!

This is a bit overdue. Our wedding was August 11th (2018) but our contact with this caterer started in May or June. In that time, Tumi, the owner, was the sweetest, most welcoming, and most helpful person I've ever worked with. If she were writing a review for me, those adjectives would probably be indecisive, high-maintenance, and unorganized. But not once did I ever get even the slightest hint from her that I was difficult to deal with. We had a wedding of about 90 people (though it seems like there ended up being a few strays) so 90 people is what we quoted. Nobody likes to talk price but I think the exceptional quality and value is worth mentioning.So for 90 people, we had appetizers and a dinner buffet. We chose 3 apps at 3 bites per person, 5 entrees buffet style paid extra for two staff members for 7 hours. They walked around passing out the appetizers and managed the whole food set up from start to finish. They even took care of cutting the cake. We paid extra for the salmon panang curry and I highly recommend it as well as literally everything else on the menu. Our guests were raving about the food. The fact that this whole operation cost $2900 blows my mind. And that's TOTAL. Not before tax and gratuity, not plus delivery fee. That's the entire bill. That's incredible.This experience with Tumi and Thai Rice Spoon Catering literally makes me want to find an excuse to throw another party so I can hire them again. Mind still blown.
