When this place opened it was great but it looks like management has changed. When I asked for them to add salt to the french fries (everyone knows if you don't salt fries immediately the salt never sticks). He said he could only put garlic or cajun seasoning because he didn't know how much salt to use. I would think the same way you know how much garlic or cajun seasoning to put on the fries that you could do the same with salt. He takes the fries to the back and pours a ton of salt on them, making them inedible. As I watch I realize immediately that his actions are spiteful and completely unprofessional. Additionally, the basket of fries was less than half full, maybe 10 steak cut fries in total. Mind you I had watched him serve a basket of fries to another patron which had twice as many fries as mine did. I also ordered a side of cheese sauce. To say it was runny and tasteless would be an understatement. I ended up having to wipe off each fry to even eat them and for $6 this type of service and food are unacceotable. I understand that it is hard to run a restaurant but the service, servings, size, and quantity of food means I will not be returning to this particular Cheesesteak Shop in the future.

Best cheesesteak around I have been to IBs and this place seasons their meat well their house made chips are very good. What I like is that I brought home a sandwich that wasn't what I wanted as it t had no peppers although I ate half and offered to pay they made me another. I have been back and love their food!

Ordered delivery. I specifically asked for peppers and no onions. I received my order with onions and no peppers. This is the second time my order has shown up wrong in my last three orders. Somewhat upsetting as the food is great. Just want my order to be correct.

The food is absolute fire! This is definitely the go to place for Cheese Steaks in Berkeley. David is also extremely kind and helpful each and every time I come to this location. Truly a nice man. Please do yourself a favor and go try this place, you will not regret it.
I had a coupon for here, so I went to give it a try. I ordered the chicken tenders for a little over $5. The tenders included only 2 pieces of fried chicken, though they were carefully breaded. They tasted fantastic, but the portion size was tiny.Service and the interior of the restaurant were nice.

It's pretty great for when you have a greasy cheesesteak craving. I have a bunch of Euro co-workers who always want one of these when they visit. This is the best cheesesteak outside of Philly. Of course, this will stay with you alllll dayyyy. So it's not a regular thing for me. But I like them. The new Berkeley location is clean. (Unlike the old location.) I'm glad it's back and also glad it's now downtown.

I ordered the regular sized curly fries. They came out super hot and crispy. They are exactly what the ideal curly fry should be. My order came with a great portion considering the price (less than $4)! They have one the cheapest curly fries compared to other options near campus. Other places sell them for $5-9. This is a really good deal. I also tried their steak fries but they didn't hit.

Food was really tasty and we went there because we won some five dollar credits at caltopia. The Philly cheesesteak had a good amount of peppers and cheese. We also ordered their steak fries with Cajun seasoning, and they were nice and crisp . Finally we ordered the regular sized chicken tenders . Although, we only got two pieces, which is not a lot for almost six dollars. The service was very nice and the food came out quick . The ambiance was nice although some music in the background would be a great little touch.
