All about the pizza here since it's basically all they serve (there is a daily salad as well). One pizza per day and they make a vegan version. Order at the counter before getting in line and then it should ~ be ready when you get to the register to pay. I like the crust quite a bit and they use Butcher's Son "cheese" so that is a treat. It's got that sour / bready feel / finish and a little crunch that is perfect. Definitely get the green sauce to dip your slices in. They've expanded the outdoor seating and it holds a lot more people now. Nice space + the live jazz every night. Very popular. Highly recommended.
They make one style of pizza daily, and you can ask for a vegan version. It was decent pizza, the crust was a bit ‘crackery’, in that it wasn’t a nice chewy soft texture. Would absolutely go back.
It was crowded!

They had a live band playing blues. They sounded awesome for such a small place. Pizza tasted great.

I don’t understand why they hype is so strong with this place. It’s always got a line. It wasn’t bad but there is a lot of good pizza in Berkeley and this might not even make my top 3-5. The crust and cook were underwhelming.
The green sauce was great though.
And the cheese shop employees can be very helpful. The mystery bags can be a good deal on a few types of cheese to try.

Had heard a lot of good stuff about this place so decided to try. The pizza was good but nothing extraordinary. At the edges it was too hard. Also the pizza is almost a thin crust pizza. They have only one pizza option and not much options for pan crust etc.
I have had pizza at other similar places in Berkeley with similar green sauce and frankly they all taste similar.
Very limited seating inside but plenty of seating outside. Live music was good but it's inside so people sitting outside cannot hear much. The line was too long and wait to find a table was just as long. For all the wait, the food was not as exceptional.
Service is fast so the line moved fast. Water available but when we went, they ran out of cups. Also outside seating area is not cleaned regularly.

Atmosphere, outside patio and live music is great. The pizza, although very fresh, isn't very appetizing the next day. In fact, it's getting very stale even when attempting to warm up. If you buy pizza here, be sure to eat everything the same day. Also, the green sauce was great too.

Great veggie pizzas but better if you add ham or sausage to a half-baked.

Delicious pizza and a spicy green sauce that is still making my mouth water. Long line that normally goes pretty fast but worth the wait. I waited about 20 minutes chatting with the locals. I can’t wait to go back.
